Morgan Wick: Is it just me, or have the ads for The Movie given the impression that in this version Max is fighting forces from a... different... underworld? *shudders*

lolwut: Yep. All the supernatural shit is hallucinations, but the movie still takes a steaming load on the source material. Avoid like the devil himself.
Robotech_Master: Shouldn't there be some kind of trope for the boss who taunts you all the way through the last level to the point where you start taking a great deal of enjoyment in just how thoroughly you're about to kick his butt—and his taunts start getting more and more nervous and desperate as you keep on not getting killed? (Nicole in MP 1, Vlad in MP 2.) This trope would also show up in Half-Life 2 (Dr. Breen).
