  • By really stretching the idea, you could include The Prisoner: a bunch of people trapped on an island with no way to leave (because of an insane weather balloon, mainly.)

That's stretching it a bit *too* far.

  • The Babylon 5 "Convictions" example is both here and in Lockedina Freezer. It should probably only been in one of them, although Lockedina Freezer doesn't seem to have the "learn to appreciate one another" bit mentioned in it like here, which of course was the point that they deliberatly subverted... but clearly they were in life threatening danger, which seems to be the difference between being locked in a "room" vs a "freezer" although in this case the danger was from fire, not ice, since the elevator was stuck at a floor that was on fire, and the smoke and heat were getting in.
