I have a query: what the heck does the reference to the "next Harry Potter book" being called "...and the Pillar of Storge" have to do with this trope?

I don't understand, somebody needs to clearly explain how "The Straight Will and Grace" is different from "Like Brother and Sister". They are both close platonic friendships involving straight people of the opposite sex.
