Noaqiyeum: With regards to National Treasure... wasn't that the Arctic? They would have had to have been on an ice floe anyway, and it's a lot shorter to get to Canada than to Vostok...

Malimar: Removed the following:

• Transylvania - Land of vampires and mad scientists.

It seems to me that entire national regions don't exactly count as 'landmarks', else we should start adding things like "the ruins of the ancient Roman empire". Might want to rethink the presence of Antarctica, too.
