Looney Toons: Snipped the I Love Lucy and M*A*S*H entries as they're now covered by Forgotten Theme Tune Lyrics.

Looney Toons: Snipped "Several times the characters in the show have whistled or hummed the theme." from The Simpsons entry because it has nothing to do with whether the theme tune is instrumental or not; it's actually Name That Tune.
Looney Toons: Okay, I'm confused. In

The Track Team's polymerization of traditional musical cultures and western orchestral instrumentation using contemporary technical processes

what the hell is meant by "polymerization"? Obviously it's a metaphor, but for the life of me I can't see how I can apply the literal meaning to music to come up with an informative image.

Harpie Siren: They mean it's a fusion of those music styles.

Looney Toons: Why not say "fusion" then? "Polymerization" means something quite different.

Kendra Kirai: Not in Yu Gi Oh! It's time to D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-DUEL! I play Dark Magician in attack mode! WHAP Ow! Okay, I'll be good.

Cassius335: I play Polymerisation, fusing three Blue-Eyes White Dragons in my hand into Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, play "Defusion" to split them back into three Blue-Eyes and FIRE!

...Sorry, couldn't resist. What were we taking about?

Gizensha: Unless anyone knows what trope it instead fits into, I'm not going to point out that Chain Letters is an exception to 'Pick a Game Show' (It chose to explain the game in the lyrics. Given that the game is the ludicrously simple 'Here's a word. Change a letter of the word to make a new word' this would have come across as insulting the intelligence of the viewer if it wasn't for how bloody catchy the tune was.
