Ununnilium: These examples need details!

Tanto: I'm not sure why. I haven't seen all of them, but this isn't a complicated trope — I imagine they'd all be variations of the trope description. ("Characters are going down a river for some reason, encounter waterfall, go over it / escape.")

Ununnilium: Meh. You can find something to say about most interesting examples, I find.

H. Torrance Griffin: Try the (Iron Age) comic book classic X-Men Unlimited #4. The Waterfall for the climax was so inevitable that is was ON THE LOWER MISSISSIPPI!!!!
Unless you coun the jungle vine that breaks and drops Simba into a lake during the "Can You Feel The Love Tonight?" segment, no one goes over a waterfall in The Lion King film version.
Someone should probably be said on the page about why the "falling over the waterfall and swimming away unharmed" version can't actually happen. —Document N
Anaheyla: Just took a shot at organization. Someone wanna check my work?
