Overlord97: Shouldn't it be ""Our" name is Legion"? and not "My" name is Legion"

Rock: For the Venom example from Spider Man, someone mentioned that it might be a case of the Venom symbiote and Eddie Brock being a particularly good match to explain use of "We" and "Us" while many other symbiotes don't. However, I'm fairly certain it's exactly the opposite: in the case of Carnage, Cletus Kasady and the Carnage symbiote became so intermingled that the character created from their union referred to itself as "I," because it considered the two to be a single being. Meanwhile, Eddie Brock retains some sense of self, mentally separating himself from Venom by using "We". This is further supported by the comics: count how many times Venom has split up with Brock, versus how many times Carnage has split up with Kasady, and you'll see that Venom is much more likely to switch hosts.
