There is a lot of critical flavour to this article and in its brother, New Age Retro Hippy. It seems that the hippy stereotype has been carried across in only the negative form - but not everyone dislikes hippies in reality. Some could be and are GOOD teachers. There are definite double standards going on in the minds of the basement dwellers who wrote these pages. So I think that these tropes should at least include the good side of the potential experience - after all, some of us are the sons and daughters of that Flower Power generation, and may have hippy teachers for parents.
