SenatorJ: It's an Acceptable Break from Reality that the player in most video games has as much time as he wants to select a response during a dialog, even if he should be giving quick answers. If anyone knows of some notable exceptions, they probably belong here.
Count Spatula: Fahrenheit is an exception to that, as all of the multiple choices during dialogue are quicktime events.
