Freezair For A Limited Time: WTF? This is not My Own Grandpa. That's about being your own ancestor. This is about aiding your younger/older self through the magic of time travel. Still a stable time loop, but not at all the same outside of that.
Anonymous Mc Cartneyfan: I agree with Freezair. Even using the broader definition on My Own Grandpa, this trope is broader. This is the supertrope. This trope covers Doc Brown discreetly helping himself with the wire to the clock in Back To The Future Part II, for instance, just as easily as the transfer of Gray's Sports Almanac.
