20thcenturyvole: Does this trope only apply to unrequited love, or does any kind of heartbreak qualify?
Sparky Lurkdragon: Curious about that as well. Kratos fits so hard if any kind counts and really doesn't if it's only getting turned down.
Jeff4815 (original Trope creator): Sorry about that. It was originally only supposed to apply to unrequited love. For future reference to anybody, being a Lancer is usually only incidental in context to this trope, the primary characteristic of the character should be a Badass coming across an unrequited type 4 Love Triangle. Sorry for the confusion.
- Persona 3 & 4- The two characters mentioned- Yousuke and the other guy (?)- don't really seem 'badass', at least by glancing at the two games' trope lists. Can anyone confirm this?
