Comic Book Example: Cyclops from X-Men has eyebeams which seem incapable of deciding if they burn and melt, or just knock stuff around like a boxing champ. Or both.
Harpie Siren: This dosen't have anything to do with tangible holograms....

Seth: No it doesn't.

Pink Lime: I removed
  • Not only a couch, but Hactar creates spoiler: the replica of a spaceship used to spur the Krikkit empire to conquer, or failing that destroy, the rest of the universe, but also the hyperspace bomb that would let them succeed.
because the spaceship and the bomb were actual matter and not hard light.
Nohbody: Question. In the original Master Of Orion, there's a fairly low-level weapon called the Hard Beam, which fires like a beam, but solidifies (barely even handwaved, IIRC, never mind actually explained) before it hits the target, acting like a solid projectile (halves shields). Would that count, or does it have to be an actual ST-ish hologram?
