Ash: I honestly think Kei deserves a less scalding description: he's hardly a saint and does some morally reprehensible things, but I would hardly call him "the most despicable and unsympathetic character ever written".

Mark Lungo: I finally got around to restoring the entry quotes that were lost in The Great Crash.
I remember reading an article few years back where the author argued that fanservice in Gantz is plot-relevant and thus not fanservice at all. Now I have a double pleasure of enjoying the story (which is not half bad, all things considered) and laughing my guts out every time I remember this remark.
Anomaly: Removed the "What the Hell, Hero?" entry from the list. WTHH is not when a 'hero' does reprehensible things, but when someone in-story actually reprimands them for it. The reprehensible acts alone just make them Designated Hero, Anti-Hero, and so forth.
Question: is there any meaning to the ay the Oni Aliens turn their heads sideways? I have seen that in a "Dark Metro" scene as well, and it seems to have some symbolic meaning that I fail to grab.

Count Spatula: It's creepy.

Count Spatula: Took out this, because Panda's aren't rodents. At one point they were classified as raccoons, which are insectivores, not rodents, and now it's generally agreed that they are, in fact, bears.
  • Actually Hoi Hoi is a panda, and pandas are rodents. That didn't stop it from earning 40 points in Osaka when no one was looking.

Sean Tucker: Should we add a note about where the manga picks up from the anime, and which episodes are filler? Also, is the other 2/3 of the main Power Trio going to get resurrected soon?
