Guest: I want to input an Older than You Think example from the 5th-9th century, but I'm not sure it goes here - it might belong under some other Person Who Wants Unlimited Power Over Everybody trope. Where would you put the archaeological discovery of an amulet, soon to be on display at the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, that contains "a request from" someone named "Yosi Ben Zinovia that God grant him unlimited rule over the members of the village similar to God’s unlimited rule over the world"?

Lale: Corrected the Narnia examples. It pays to be a literary Otaku.

Ununnilium: D'oh! I really need to reread those.

i shall create an All Blue Entry!!

Lale: Okay, I admit the idea was cute, but the entry is just ridiculous. There's a difference between linking things that should be linked (if there's a lot, it's just a coincidence) and creating Pot Holes for the sake of creating Pot Holes, which this is! Links to entries for certain terms should help clarify the main entry, not make it more confusing.

so we can't keep the article like it is?

Lale: If its purpose is for contributors' sheer amusement, yes. If its purpose is to describe for readers what an Evil Overlord is, no.

Janitor: Um, yeah. Whoever the anonymous person here is didn't pick up on the intended sarcasm in All Blue Entry. Maybe that needs to be made more explicit. A road composed entirely of Pot Holes is difficult to travel.

Lale: Thank you. That being said...

screw-the-duelists-i-have-money-in-america: the anonymous person was me, and i didn't realize All Blue Entry was supposed to be sarcastic, i'm sorry, in america

Janitor: No apologies required, screw...america. On a cold-read, the All Blue Entry piece did read as an invitation to create one.

Lale: There's your real-life Forbidden Fruit example.

Ununnilium: Added in some blue links that I think actually add value.
