(We see space, covered with vehicles, colonies, as well as explosions.)
Narrator!Kemiyah: GRAB, a religious cult claiming that they believe that humans are bad, and that they can achieve godhood through evolution has taken over at least 3/4 of the world.//GRAB-to yobareru cult ha Chikyuu no daibu-bun wo shi-hai shita. Ningen no zenbu ha sekai no jama. Demo, shinkateki-na chikara wo tsukatte, atashitachi wa kami ni nareru. Sore ha GRAB no shinjiru koto.
(We see the Earth, with explosions in one corner of the globe, it fading to a flag with a three people with wings in a circle. In the middle of the circle, says GRAB—the Greatly Renowned Authority of Benevolence.)
Narrator!Kemiyah: Many of us oppose GRAB, and we either live in space colonies, or in the smaller territories of Earth.//Takusan ha GRAB ni hantai, dakara atashitachi ha uchuu uminchi ka Chikyuu no amari ookii-na tokoro ni sundeiru.
(We see various space colonies, well, in space, floating around.)
Narrator!Kemiyah: But GRAB can intimidate us with the use of these robots they call, Mobile Suits.//Demo, GRAB ha atashitachi ni ikaku-shitekara, Kidou Senshi-to yobu robo wo tsukau.
(We see people working on these giant rifles, beam swords, and next, the camera pans and zooms in towards the head of a white giant.)
Narrator!Kemiyah: Besides, the GRABBER authorities have powers we haven't—control this technology to the fullest. These authorities are called Revisions, and their power increases the higher their ranking is.//Soshite, GRAB no toukyoku ha atashitachi ga nai-chikara wo tsukau. Revision-to yobu toukyoku ha kono technology wo fukai tsukau-koto ga dekiru. Toukyoku ga takaku, chikara mo ooku.
(We see these Gundam move, with the pilot's hands on orbs that flash after an acronym pops up on the scream that says, Godly United Newly Deployed Authoritative Mecha—G.U.N.D.A.M. OS v0.9 Copyrighted by the Greatly Renowned Authority of Benevolence, All Rights Reserved)
Narrator!Kemiyah: We, Team AVNA, are trying to stop this as well as another conflict that revolves around two groups who will overthrow GRAB. But we can only alleviate so many atrocities.//Team AVNA-to yobu atashitachi ha kore wo tomaritai. Soshite GRAB wo kierareru-no tame ni mou hitotsu no sensou ga okutteiru. Demo, totemo-takusan no zangyaku-koui wo tomaru-koto ga dekiru.
(We see Gundams firing at each other: six blue, six red. Then, we see GRAB's headquarters: something that juxtaposes both Gothic architecure, cyberpunk influences and just plain 'my territory is much bigger than yours.')
Narrator!Kemiyah: For that is the existence of Team AVNA.//Dakara, Team AVNA ga iru.
(Lastly, we first see six people in a row—a African-American woman, a tall, lanky, Chinese-Filipina, one Japanese-British-Australian, one Italian-American, and a pair of Japanese twins. Lastly, a banner that says TEAM AVNA GO FORTH hung on a wall.)
NEW MOBILE EPIC GUNDAM AVNA: Episode 1: The Exposition
(We see a pair of blood-drenched twins wearing their school uniforms running to a counter, filled with registration forms dedicated to finding new Team AVNA Gundam pilots.)
Yuuna: Yuuma, stop rushing! The massacre's in the past now!//Yuuma-kun, isoganaidekure! Sono gyakusatsu ha mukashi'no kotonyo!
Yuuma: No, Nee-chan! We have to stop GRAB as fast as we can to prevent another massacre from happening again!//Nee-chan, iya! Oretachi ha GRAB wo tomaranakya, dakara mada hitotsu no gyakusatsu wo shinai!
(We see a pair of twins, both brown-haired and brown-eyed, both of them having shoulder-length hair. They are to register for a Gundam, arriving at a counter.)
Yuuna: Yuuma and Yuuna Shirosumi, 13 years old. MSCL-609, please.//Shirosumi Yuuna to Yuuma. MS-609, onegai!
Yuuma: Last victims of a school massacre done by a GRAB official.//GRAB kara hito ha oretachi no gakkou de gyakusatsu shite oretachi ga saigou no ikiteiru seitou.
Receptionist A: Okay, you're both 13, twins, and choose to pilot a Gundam composed of two G-Fighters. Remember, that you must be in the same group as an individual over 15. Thank you for registering, and work hard to defeat the enemy.//Hai, anata-tachi ha juusan-sai no futago, soshite futatsu no G-Fighter wo tsukutta-kara Gundam ni hairitagatteimasu. Arigatou gozaimasu, soshite teki ni taoshite-gambatte-nanodesu!
(We then see a receptionist with a visor, who registers applications for the Gundams.)
Yuuna: Wait, how did we get hand of 18 Mobile Suits?//Chotto, Juu-yattsu no Gundam ni ukeru houhou ha nanda?
Yuuma: Remember, Nee-chan, 12 more people already registered. REFORM and REVOLT.//Nee-chan, Juu-futari ga Gundam no tame ni apply-shita. REFORM ya REVOLT nosa.
Receptionist A: Actually, I think they were stolen by various people. Some died in the process.//Takusan no hito ha sono Kidou Senshi no tame ni dorobou ni narimashita. Aruhito ga nakunarimashita.
Maria: That may be true, pero they sacrificed their lives so that we could save the world. Maria Clarion-Tiague, 23 years old. MS-944, please.//Sore ha hontou dayo, demo atashitachi no sekai ga tasukeru no tame ni shindeita. Atashi, Maria Clarion-Tiague. Juu-roku sai. MSAL-944 wo agete kure.
(We see a woman walking, while the camera pans and zooms from her high heels, to her thigh-high socks, pleated skirt, spaghetti strap shirt with a jacket over it, her pigtails then her face.)
Receptionist A: Yes, that's the two-mode configurable Gundam. Thank you for registering, and work hard to defeat the enemy.//Hai, sore ha futari no mode ni kawaru-kotogadekiru Kidou Senshi no desu. Arigatou gozaimasu, soshite teki ni taoshite-gambatte-nanodesu!
Kemiyah: You sound like you hate this job. Your greeting's pretty forced! Kemiyah Rivers, 16 years old. MS-374, please.//Anata ha kono shigoto wo sukinoka? Anata no aisatsu ga hontou ja nai no! Kemiyah Rivers, juu-rokusai! MSAL-374, no yo.
(We see a woman slamming her hands on a table, who is Afro-Indian-American, who is slightly snarky. Her hair is tied back into one pigtail over waist-length hair, she's wearing a pair of bell-bottom jeans, and a green, blue and pink tank top cut at the shoulders.)
Receptionist A: Thank God! Now I can finally let myself loose! But didn't two more people register for Gundams already?//Yokatta-na! Atashi ha teinei-kei ga kirai yo! Demo, aru futari ga Gundam wo ukeru yo ne?
Maria: Speaking of which, where're Delaney and Buzz?//Aa, toieba Delaney to Buzz ha doko ka?
Kemiyah: They're two of the Gundam thieves!//Karera ha Gundam wo dorobou-shita!
(Cut to a runway where two Gundams are being stored. One is yellow and black with a red left arm and blue right arm, and another is bulky, heavily armored, and red and golden—much like a Spartan warrior.)
Delaney: Right here, Miyah. Delaney Kagayaki, 16 years old. Completed Phase 1. Taken the MSAL-555 THTS Gundam.//Kokone, Miyah-chan. Delaney Kagayaki, juu-rokusai da. MSAL-555 THTS Gundam wo motteiru.
Buzz: Buzz diRonnio, 16 years old. Completed Phase 1. I have the MSAL-186 AVNA Gundam right here!//Buzz diRonnio, juu-rokusai, Daiichi no Phase kanryou! MSAL-186 AVNA Gundam ha koko ni aru!
Haro: Buzz-nii, aru-aru!
(We see two Gundam pilots wearing latex space suits that resemble that of their Gundams. One is a dark-skinned redhead, while one is a pale blonde. A small, red sphere with two circles for wings and ears accompanies the former.)
Donald: Donald Mitsugawa, REFORM leader. With me are Milanna Joneson, Ron Sussen, Raina Volar and Kanao Mitsubashi.//Mitsugawa Donald, REFORM no danchou. Milanna Joneson, Ron Sussen, Raina Volar soshite Mitsubashi Kanao mo REFORMIST da.
Milanna: We're idealists who choose to change the world AND GRAB with the use of reformation.//Kisoku, GRAB to Chikyuu wo kawaritagatteiru hito ha risou-suki REFORM da.
(We see five people: one tall, muscular and toned, one blonde and bespectacled, a brunette with a well-kept stubble, another brunette with spectacles and slightly more size, and one that seems to be related to the first one, but distantly and much younger.)
Buzz: Idealist REFORMISTS, huh? Sounds cool. But I'm Team AVNA all the way!//Risou-suki na REFORM ka...? Kakkoi-mitai. Demo, ore ha Team AVNA no dan'in da. Eien ni!
Delaney: So you're REFORM, you must be REVOLT.//Anta-tachi ha REFORM-tte, anta-tachi ha REVOLT yo ne?
(We see the camera cut to a short, pale and neck-length haired boy, with a fair-haired bespectacled girl beside a boy who seems like he just witnessed an apocalypse, a girl who can sympathize with said boy, and another child who seems to be a very cynical, silver-haired kid.)
Yuuji: Yup, we're a bunch of cynics. Yuuji Hirohashi, REVOLT leader. With me are Seica Islatia, Dylan Waters, Nocciola Hazelli, and Conrad Sylvie.//Hai, oretachi ha genjitsu ni shinjiteiru hito da.
