Working Title: rename Ace Lightning Syndrome: From YKTTW

Scarab Yeah that sounds better, and it's more likely to be understandable by other tropers. Ace is a pretty vague series.

At least have a redirect from, or something...

Cassius335: Yeah, it's not like there's a picture of Ace at the top of the fucking page or anything. Jeez.

Scarab The point stands, he's not exactly the best known of Superheroes-Who-Have-Issues-With-Breaking-Stuff. The image is descriptive enough without a person having to identify the character. Either way the rename doesn't hurt.

Greenygal: What's the Highlander example supposed to be referring to? Immortals don't have super-strength that I'm aware of...

Nemo: At a guess, I'd say it references all the blown fueses and other destruction caused by the quickening, which is similar enough to this trope in spirit (superpowers causing collateral damage) to count as an example in my opinion.

tbarrie: I removed the following:
  • Spider-man is mentioned as being extremely strong, but you never really see it when he's fighting mooks. As it turns out, Word of God says he can punch with the force of ten tons, but he's always pulling his punches. Unless he's really pissed off.
because, if he's pulling his punches, he obviously does know his own strength, so he's not an example.
