//Does Frodo's ring count in Lord of the Rings? it gives power of invisibility whilst making one visible to the Evil Overlord

Andyroid: Removed the Yu-Gi-Oh example, it doesn't really fit. There are a lot of Collectible Card Games that have easy-to-play cards with a big drawback, and not all of them fall under Deadly Upgrade. Do we have an entry for something like that? And if not, should we?

Ununnilium: I think a Game Trope would be a good idea. Something like Suicide Fatties or Drawback Cards.

Cassius335: Non-serious suggestion: Lawnmower Of Orichalcos

Cassius335: Removed Zero Form, as that turned out to be Not So Deadly After All.

DogMom: I would pay good money for the next Anita Blake book to do this.

Stargate525: Removed SG-1 example 'Upgrades,' as the loss of the powers is not deadly in any way.
