Elanorea: The Star Trek example is kinda confusingly written and doesn't really explain how it's connected to the trope. Somebody who's seen the show should rewrite it if it actually is an example, or remove it if it was put in by mistake.
Johnny E: How is this at all related to the trope? An inversion of this would be implying that something is really good by offering a minor quibble as its worst possible criticism, like "my worst quality is that I'm a workaholic".
