A cross counter involves a fighter countering a jab with a right straight, resulting in the combatants' arms CROSSING each other. Rather than a cross counter, the great majority of these are just simultaneous hitting. Most are not even counters, as they are just two characters happening to decide to punch each other at the same time, rather than knowingly getting hit in exchange for an opening.

Falcon Arrow: Example, besides not being a cross, Chuck Liddell doesn't even connect versus Rashad Evans; same with him vs. Mauricio "Shogun" Rua, although those (and Quinton "Rampage" Jackson vs. Wanderlei Silva) were both simultaneous left hooks.

Fast Eddie: Cut a hotlinked, animated image. Please see Administrative Policy.
