Working Title: Iconic Outfit: From YKTTW
Dragon Quest Z: Okay, before anyone goes, "Shouldn't this go in Sugar Wiki?" look at the first paragraph again. This is a trope because it is a conscious choice of the people making the work to stick with the iconic outfit.
Dragon Quest Z: I reverted the picture because even if it fits better, it's also too wide and too cropped.
Meikyu Butterfly: I'm OK with that then, but I still think that Ariel doesn't really fit as the shown example. She's got a whole load of dresses (I can name at least 3) which she regularly wears in merchandise (In fact, her seashell-bra is the least-used of her outfits in her doll line...) So I think another picture would fit a lot better. Since mine was obviously bad quality, does anyone have a better picture? Please?

Meikyu Butterfly: Much, much better. It does the trope justice by using someone whose clothes really make the legend! (I like it)
