Working Title: Man Made Of Metal: From YKTTW

Nate The Great: Does Seven of Nine really count? The silver catsuit is not armor or any other form of protection, nor does it really have the appearance of armor, nor does it look like the armor she used to have.

Anonymous Mc Cartneyfan: Yes, she does count. It doesn't have to look like armor; it only has to look like shiny metal skin. And that's a skintight shiny silver catsuit she's wearing! She probably fits it more than half the people who do look like they're wearing armor.

Anonymous Mc Cartneyfan: Then again, her power is that of being a Canon Sue. (Her catsuit is meant to remind us of what she was/is while still leaving her more beautiful than the average Borg.)

Nate The Great: The description implies that the metal appearance must provide more protection than ordinary clothes. Or is this really just an appearance trope?

Loser Takes All: Isn't 7 of 9's catsuit just clothing, not her actual skin? Certainly the trope isn't meant to apply to anyone wearing shiny clothes. Also, removed this because, like Cable, the character he's a parody of, Magog has one metal arm, but the rest of his body looks like normal flesh:

  • Magog from Kingdom Come (more recently reformed in the pages of JSA) also qualifies.
