slb1900: What about cheesy 80's cookie-cutter bands that used the same format? Like "Roxanne and the Raging Roxettes?"
Lenoxus: My guess is that it would only apply if the Character Name part of the phrase went on to be part of other bands; this page isn't for every single title that follows that format. (For example, Roxanne's lesser-known side projects, Roxanne and the Angry Anchormen, and Roxanne Versus the Ramones. Oh, wait, not that last one.)
