Looney Toons: Great name, Kendra!

Kendra Kirai: Thanks. :) I wish I could really take credit for it. I'm pretty sure I heard it on some TV show or other that was mentioning how people who fall from buildings and whatnot always seem to land face down. It was just too perfect to pass up for the trope name. :)

Is this about short falls? In long falls the stuntman always falls backwards —-not because it has anything to do with controlling the fall, which is done by rotating your arms, but because they MUST land on their backs when they hit the air bag.

Kendra Kirai: Who changed this article? It was about them LANDING face down. Not FALLING. When they hit the ground in the scene, they will be face down, regardless of how far they fell, or their position to begin with. And it's been so long the damn page history doesn't have the original article....

Johnny E: This really needs sorting out. Is it meant to be about falling or landing, and more importantly is it meant to be face down or face up?
