Discussion prior to move from The Toblerone

Tanto: Would Batou from Ghost In The Shell fit here?

Shire Nomad: I think he's just a tad too military-stiff for the role, Tanto.

Qit el-Remel: Would Zoolie, from The Pirates of Dark Water, count as such a character?
Frank75: Nice article, but what is the difference between a Large Ham and a Boisterous Bruiser?

Boisterous Bruiser is Large Ham who likes cracking skulls

St Fan: Some of the examples of this page seems to be threading the line and not quite fitting with the Boisterous Bruiser archetype. Suggested for deletion:

There are probably others too, but I don't know their series well enough to judge. This article would need a clean-up.

Tacitus: Ah, the deliciously ironic relevance of the photo caption!

alliterator: Toblerone is still here! He just has his own page now.

Chris X: Uh Toblerone, someone deleted your page.

Kraas: Yeah, I really just miss when this trope was called "The Toblerone" :_(

fleb: Solarn, I loved The Toblerone too, but cut it out and let the page at least be consistent. Boisterous Bruiser is a great name. Much better than Big Fun Guy or Boisterous Big Guy. (I think it's the R's. They roll, just like The Toblerone.)

Sapphire Flame: I like the "Boisterous" part of the trope name, but not all of the examples really count as "Bruisers", such as Boss Nass and BRIANBLESSED. I don't know if it's too premature for another name change, but I just don't really like it that much. Sorry, the trope is still The Toblerone to me.

Caswin: My knowledge of Warhammer 40k is limited, but would it be too inaccurate to call the Orks a race of Boisterous Bruisers?
Michael: Can someone explain why the inherent Fetish Fuel nature of female Boisterous Bruisers was deleted?

Caswin: Minor quibble: The Toph picture is misleading. Yes, she's cute, but that was what she looked like as a six-year-old. I'd change it, but the image source is... something I'm not used to. Help?
Jordan: I kind of question the Gundam00 examples apart from Graham Aker who I do think is a good fit. The rest are more like straight up Blood Knight characters than anything.
