Working Title: Blah Blah Blah X Blah..: From YKTTW

Launching the page. I think there's enough examples this time to send it out to the rigors of Wiki Magic.

Doug S. Machina: I'm tempted to change this:

This trope occurs when someone is listening to a conversation, and through either boredom, irrelevancy of anything but key words, or simple comedic effect, most of the conversation consists of "blah".

to:

blah blah blah trope blah blah blah conversation blah blah blah boredom, blah blah blah irrelevancy blah blah blah key words blah blah blah comedic effect blah blah blah...

But I think it wouldn't be clever.

fleb: It is tempting. It's not as bad as True Art when it comes to a Self-Demonstrating Article.

fleb: Changed the Scrubs example, because I remember it being Dr. Cox who was immune.

...because Dr. Kelso has acquired an immunity due to having been married to Enid since fire was still just a crazy idea.

Dwayne Hicks: I've seen a couple instances where placeholder nonsense is used to show that a character lacks the technical expertise or domain knowledge to understand a conversation, rather than being bored or disinterested in it. (Examples: the image at the top of Techno Babble; the Cryptonomicon example I added to Blah, Blah, Blah recently; "tech the tech" here.) Is it worthwhile breaking that out as a separate subtrope?
