- Azumanga Daioh: The show has a running joke where Sakaki tries to pet a feral cat and is inevitably bitten. It's actually a little surprising she's ever able to get that close in the first place, since feral cats usually run away whenever humans make any concerted movement toward them.
...I like how the entry notes that feral cats don't count for this trope, and the first example is about a feral cat.
And moving that big one that starts with "This troper" to Troper Tales: All Animals Are Domesticated
Danel: As far as I can see, the feral cat one seems to be the only example - the rest are aversions and then a whole bunch of Troper Tales. I'm really not sure this is actually a 'trope', as opposed to "a curious and unfortunate thing".
