Puffy Treat: Billy Batson and the Magic of Shazam is on the record as not being set in the same continuity as Jeff Smith's 'Monster Society of Evil' project. Note that in the former Dr. Sivana has yet to meet Cap "for the first time", while the later had the first meeting as a major plot point. Some fans have speculated that such differences will be reconciled, but neither DC nor Mike Kunkel have said words to that effect.
