Wait...I have the issue where Jack meets up with the aged Thom Kallor/"Kingdom Come" Starman, and when he removes the cowl he's white. It's true that DC's endless reboots of the Legion of Super-Heroes have made an African American-looking Thom Kallor canon, but he was introduced in 2005, a few years after Jack's series ended.
