Because we need one.

First order of business: Her height. Some people claim she's over 12 heads tall (using her own head as a unit of measurement), and thus, compared to the "average" person being around 8 heads tall (with the "average" head being around 23-25 cm from crown to chin), she's 8-ft-or-more-tall, therefore freakishly tall, while others say that she's just 6' or so tall and her head is disproportionate in comparison to her body.

So... Which one presents a better case? And what approximation would you give for her height?

EDIT: Minor fixes.

The second one, obviously. Her head is way out of proportion to the rest of her. And her legs make up nearly half her total height.

Lucas, Rodin, and Baldur are all taller than Bayonetta aren't they? If so I would say her perceived freakish height(and other bodily oddities) is due more to stylization. She's probably between 5'8 an 6'0.

Am I the only one who really digs her Fulgore costume? The hat + shades combo makes her look like a cowgirl badass.

The latter. Yeah, she's tall (and as noted already, over 60% of it is in those gams of hers), but I doubt that Bayonetta is that tall. If that was the case, guys like Rodin would be friggin' giants.

So, if her leg proportions were reduced to "average" in comparison to the rest of her (unchanged) body, how tall would she turn out to be?

Good question.

Er... I'd say somewhere between 5'6" and 5'9", perhaps?

Well, I was going from the assumption that she's about 6'0", not 5'8".

About her height, don't know and don't much care.

What I do know is she has the kind of ass Sir Mix-a-Lot writes songs about.

And that the game is fun as all hell.

Vertigo, don't you mean Kilgore outfit? Not that it wouldn't be cool to have a cyborg death machine for an alt.

Ah, Bayonetta. Why haven't i completed this game yet? Oh yeah, i'm trying to pace myself and unlock Honda on Warriors Orochi first. Hmmm... Nope, gotta go play Bayonetta again. Sorry Tadakatsu. You can't match a woman who wears a bodysuit made of her own hair while running across the side of a building being devoured by magma as evil angels battle her relentlessly. Also she has boobies. You do not.

Although i have to wonder why all these beat-em-ups are so damn hard. Ninja Gaiden beat the crap out of me while forcing me to declare my love for it, and Bayonetta is similarly abusive. And even after i give what i believe a flawless performance, what with the doging and the combos and the speed and the creativity, they still give me that damn ego-crushing stone award.

While we are admiring her body parts, though, i just can't stop staring at that Sexy Back of hers. It's like Zettai Ryouiki for the upper body.

Play them on easy? Hell, for Ninja Gaiden thats almost a requirement.

Oh wait, I think I beat Sigma 2 on normal. Dont really remember.

EASYMODE IS FOR THE WEAK.

... Except i did for Ninja Gaiden. Granted, that was because i absolutely loathe to use healing items unless i absolutely must. Bayonetta's a bit easier, mostly because her dodge-roll is godly compared to Ryu's little sidestep that usually just gets him some other ninja's claws to his face.

The main hazard in Ninja Gaiden is getting hit with explosive shurikens from those spider ninja assholes who hide offscreen.

I just spam flying swallow and izuna drop.

The main hazard in ninja gaiden is FUCKING EVERYTHING. Even the bats are lethal.

Bayonetta just has those Dual Boss esque claw-angel metallic jackal bastard thingies. I guess they're like heaven's counterpart to hell's Demonic Spiders. Seriously, other than bosses i've never been killed by anything but them.

Although i'm sure i'll find something worse soon enough.

Grace and Glory are my favorite non-boss enemies in terms of everything.

Visual design, difficulty, working in tandem with other enemies(a bit unfair since they were pretty much made for that, but whatever), you name it.

If you play on normal difficulty or above, you meet super versions called Gracious and Glorious, who are supposed to be the hardest nonboss enemies in the game.

I'm playing the game, and I basically like it, but despite all the fanservice (which I fully approve) it just can't hook me the way Devil May Cry 4 or even God Of War 3 could and I didn't even like the latter. It lacks spark, in spite of the trillions of combat options.

[up][up]I know, I've beaten every difficulty. Fighting an enemy that is entirely immune to witch time is pretty cool, but I do not like that the masks that Gracious and Glorious wear. Though I guess being unnerving was kinda the point.

[up] What is spark?

Something Bayonetta has tons of, at least for me.

Hey, you can attach Durga to your feet! I didn't even know. Ultra flaming demon landmine claw kick gooo!

A little tidbit: If you equip the Durga to your feet while it's in fire mode you can walk on lava.

If you switch it to lightning mode then Glory's special attack(when it creates an electric shockwave on the ground) won't hurt you.

... Now how do you switch modes? I just seem to randomly go from one to the other.

How anyone can say this game lacks spark is beyond me, pesonally.

And Yeah Omega I meant Kilgore lol wow what a goof.

[up]There's a specific command to switch modes, it's quite easy to do and should be in the movelist.

And yeah I never attempt the fire city after the first time without flame durga equipped.

[up][up]You know the Bullet Climax skill?

Do one full revolution with the left thumb stick and then immediately press punch if the Durga is on your hands or kick if it's on your feet.

[up]The Odette does the same thing, but it doesn't work on burning enemies like fire Durga does.

Neato.

Grace and Glory are getting ridiculous. I'm on chapter VI, and i platinum'd every verse up until i got to the Grace and Glory. I beat them with literally no health left: My bar was completely empty. THEN TWO MORE COME. Hilariously i got a torture attack off when the claws where a split second from my face. Still got repeatedly killed.
