A character or group of characters is moving through an area, usually tracking or looking for someone. The camera follows them for a while, then pans around to reveal that whatever dangerous person they're looking for- OMGHESRIGHTTHEREGETOUTNOW!
See 1:00-1:20 here. Also in Pitch Black and maybe First Blood.
Usually, the only indication that he's there is visual. No music or anything. Do We Have This One?

Do we have a trope for when Visual Novels/Dating Sims/some anime claim that someone is either definitely, totally over 18/20 (depending on it being either America or Japan respectively) when it's either highly improbable, completely impossible or contradicted by later events? To go with this, sometimes they simply don't state ages for anyone because they're supposed to be under those ages, but they can't legally say so.

Specific version of You Can't Fight Fate. Someone goes back in time to prevent a historical horror from occurring. Either it happens anyway, or something worse happens in its place. The intended message is that events like World War II, 9/11 etc. are fixed points in time that "needed" to happen. Example: The episode of The Twilight Zone where a time traveller tries to prevent Hitler from being born, and becomes his nanny. She kills the baby - so his parents replace him with a stolen child, and that child becomes the Adolf Hitler we know of today.

Do we have anything for the reaction "You're not crazy after all." Basically, there would be The Jorel who is trying to convince everybody of something that seems absolutely ridiculous, and of course no one would believe him. But there would be one person, often a spouse, who would not call the Jorel crazy and would be very supportive. However, secretly, this character thinks he's nuts just like everybody else. Then all is revealed and the spouse character turns out to be very relieved that their spouse is completely sane.
In fact, do we have any tropes about reactions from other characters once they find out that The Jorel was right? It would include things like people apologizing and attempting to make amends, while others would claim that they knew it the whole time.

Do we have a trope for when Reed Richards Is Useless or Cut Lex Luthor a Check is averted - where a superhero or supervillain uses his powers to make a genuine impact on the world, especially in "mundane" areas? Can be an Elseworld of a regular comic series or the main plot of a more deconstructive work. I've seen it a few times out there, and am using it myself in a comic I'm drawing.

Character who can't cook is suddenly required to cook something - for a Home Ec class, potluck dinner, to impress a love interest, whatever. So (s)he buys the food from a store or gets someone else to make it, and passes it off as his/her own work. Usually comes unstuck at the end when (s)he's asked for the recipe or to cook it again.

Actor who played The Wesley or The Poochie stars in something new, and the audience instantly hates the character because they associate the actor with the Wesley or Poochie (purely in terms of character, not X-Pac Heat.) But the actor turns out to be great in the new role, the character is Rescued from the Scrappy Heap, and the actor wins acclaim.

A trope for when Alice and Bob are having a conversation, and Bob reacts to a point Alice made and refuses to drop it, even after Alice has gone on with the discussion?

I'm trying to figure out if a trope like this even exists....
Anyone ever read a story, or watch a show, or play a game, in which the story goes on for some time with one main character... Then, either all of a sudden, or through a series of unfortunate events, the main character CHANGES to another character, possibly even one that wasn't doing too much to begin with?
Now, the best example I have would be the anime Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. It's not exact to that idea, but most people fell in love with the character of Kamina (the most badass character to ever walk this wiki), and I've known people to think that he was the main character when it was obviously Simon (I mean, god, it's HIS voice in the exposition narratives!).... Well long story short, something bad happens to Kamina and Simon takes over.
As is, I can't think of any other example nearly as close to the trope I'm trying to find as this.... Can anyone help me out? Or at least let me know if it's been done before?
And no, I'm not talking about things like prologues in which it follows a character for a few minutes/levels then the real story starts. I mean real story, main character A either dies, commits a Face Heel Turn, or some other schmucky thing, and Side Character S or Extra Character F suddenly becomes the focus of the story....
I would imagine this is better played out over a very long series, with a hero's descent into madness, sudden death, or a FHT thus screwing everything over and the Big Happy Joy Faeries Of Goodness (what I call the all mighty forces of good that conscript joe schmoe into some quest for good like a schmuck. "Of Goodness" optional.) have to go to Back Up Hero 1 (or more, depending on how many heroes failed their mission)
On a side note, is there a trope for the Big Happy Joy Faeries?

This is a repeating theme in mythology: a human (usually a woman) is created by magic or the gods but they forget to give it some vital function such as morality, wisdom, patience or caution. Human naturally does something horrific because of this lack. I can't think of the trope title for this.

Is there a trope where a person wants to murder a hero, simply because he's a hero? It's kind of hard to explain, but it's Onomatopoeia's schtick, and is the motivation of the omake (yes, I used that word) at the end of The Killing Joke..

A while back I found a trope (I think it was on the Darth Wiki) and some of the examples were about how Charlie Brown was unfairly treated. Like how he was hated by everyone because he got SECOND PLACE in a national spelling bee. I've been wanting to find the page again but I can't remember the name of it. Could someone help me?
Is there a trope for when the tempo of a piece increase yet the melody remains similar or the same? If it does not exist, it could be called "Accelerando Effect" after the Mother 3 theme which uses the trope.
