- Berserk Button: Lakitu is this due to its difficulty. Even seeing its cloud will anger him.
- Fanboy: With the exceptions of the Identity V world (a game he hadn't heard of), the V3 and Vampire of Hope's Peak worlds (worlds that aren't based off of video games), he's shown to start geeking out the various worlds and characters they meet.
- Fantastic Arousal: He seems to quite enjoy it when Kyoko start stroking his tail. No, not that. The raccoon tail he gets when he touches a Super Leaf.
- Invincibility Power-Up: He gains the power of the Super Star during his fight against the Angry Sun, allowing him to punch it without horribly burning his hands.
- Little Bit Beastly: Because of the Super Leaf, he gains raccoon ears and a tail.
- Official Couple: With Kyoko.
- The Power of Love: Whenever he thinks about something that makes his heart flutter, he's able to fly with his raccoon suit. This actually causes him to recognize his feelings for Kyoko.

- Berserk Button: Harming or insulting Makoto is the best way to piss her off.
- Covert Pervert: When she discovers her flight ability from the bunny ears and Makoto seems to have only been paying attention to her ears, she mutters to herself that she wouldn't have minded if he saw her panties. Later on when Makoto accidentally reveals that he did see them, she thinks to herself that she wanted him to see them.
- Cuteness Proximity: Her reaction to Makoto's raccoon power-up.
- Damsel out of Distress: She was able to easily kick Bowser's butt. She would've escaped, had Bowser not summoned Mecha Koopas to restrain her.
- Fantastic Arousal: Like Makoto, she also enjoys having her tail and ears petted.
- Little Bit Beastly: She sprouts bunny ears with a carrot power up. When she loses that and gets a Super Leaf, she gains raccoon ears and a tail.
- Not So Above It All: It's revealed in Super Danganronpa Bros. 2 that she was the one that doodled on everyone using the Stop Watch.
- Official Couple: With Makoto.
- The Power of Love: Like Makoto, she can also fly with her raccoon powers by thinking of what makes her heart flutter.
- What Does She See in Him?: Kyoko asks herself this early on, followed by a bout of You Answered Your Own Question.

- Covert Pervert: While watching Toko chasing Mips around, his gaze is mainly on her butt as he makes mental notes on that, Kyoko's legs, and Aoi's boobs. Later on in the Identity V world, he has a fantasy similar to Toko's and is clearly aroused by it.
- Gender Bender: He transforms into "Byakuette" with the Super Crown.
- Klingon Promotion: After he and Toko defeat the Goomboss and turn him into gold coins, this causes him to become the new Goomboss.
- Midas Touch: With the Gold Flower power-up, he can turn anything into gold coins with golden fireballs.

- I Just Want to Be Badass: She spends the entire time in the Mushroom Kingdom trying to prove her worth to everyone (especially Byakuya) due to her mainly being needed for Genocide Jill and not being an active player in the sixth trial.

- Shear Menace: While she will use the hammers if she has to, she still prefers to use her signature scissors.

- Shipper on Deck: She believed that the reason Kyoko took Makoto on their trip for the Magenti-Star piece was so she could spend time with him. She also gushes over the two when Kyoko tells her about the two's Love Confession.

- Big Damn Heroes: Surprisingly for him, he does this TWICE:
- When Aoi and Heiho-kun were dealing with Captain Wart and Warter, he set off their bombs and send the two flying. Though it turned out he did so accidentally as he was trying to escape the bag.
- An intentional example happens in the V3 world when he snaps Makoto from his Despair Event Horizon, allowing him to save the others from theirs.
- Cat Boy: He becomes this after getting the Super Bell.
- The Friend Nobody Likes: With the exception of Makoto, no one is really friends with him and mainly tolerate him. This is especially true for Kyoko.
- Incredible Shrinking Man: He shrinks because of the Mini Mushroom. He returns back to normal size because of a Super Mushroom.
- Verbal Tic: After getting the Cat power-up, he starts ending his sentences with "nyah".

- Cloudcuckoolander: When he used the Magenti-Star to try to send the 6 back home, his mind started wandering towards Hyrule. This resulted in the survivors to be sent to Hyrule Field.
- Happily Married: To Toadette. The two of them even have kids.

- All Animals Are Dogs: He tends to act more like a giant dog than a dinosaur. This includes his tendency to lick Kyoko like how a dog would lick its owner.
- Identical Stranger: Aside from being a slightly different shade of green, he looks exactly like THE Yoshi.
- Shout-Out: His name, Zyuran, is based off of Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger. This is acknowledged In-Universe by Makoto. He also says that it means "Dinosaur Power".

- Goddamned Boss: He's this to Makoto as the former caused the latter to constantly get game overs.
- Squashed Flat: He gets flattened by a Chain Chomp that Kyoko kicks into him.

- Distracted by the Sexy: He get distracted by "Byakuette" while being chased by Toko, allowing her to knock him out and take the Magenti-Star piece from him. This is despite having a date and knowing "Byakuette" is actually a guy.Mips: Eh, I don’t discriminate on the basis of gender identity. I may even prefer a cute guy who can pass off as a pretty girl… and you’re WAY prettier than that hag of a bunny I was going to meet

- Curb-Stomp Battle: After his mooks are dealt with, he gets quickly beaten by Byakuya and Toko's Combination Attack.
- Orcus on His Throne: He spends most of his fight with Byakuya and Toko ordering his goons around. With them being Goombas, they're easily dealt with.

- Only Known by Their Nickname: He's only called "Heiho-kun" by Aoi and "Maskass" by Hiro.
- Pokémon Speak: He can only say "Hei-Ho".
- The Un-Reveal: We never get to know what's underneath his mask, with the only one who's seen it being Aoi.
- Verbal Tic Name: Due to the Pokémon Speak, as shown above, Aoi calls him "Heiho-kun".

- Ain't Too Proud to Beg: When Makoto arrives to save Kyoko, he begs for Makoto to take her back after she kicks his ass.
- Despair Event Horizon: He hits this after Makoto and Kyoko defeat him. Though Makoto, being Makoto, helps him out of it.
- Ignored Epiphany: Just as he's about to have a Heel–Face Turn from Makoto's speech, the Broodals arrive to tell him about his wedding reservations. This causes him to immediately plan on kidnapping Peach yet again.
