If this (the Random Trope buttion taking us to the same page) is someone's idea of a joke, it's not funny. And it's five weeks early for this kind of crap.
Edited by rds9674... sorry the joke was too good.
This is apparently being looked into by the admins right now.
Edited by Toko90s My dA: https://www.deviantart.com/toko90sGot here the same way. I'm guessing it's a bug rather than some kind of early April Fool's joke.
Though, given the page in question, I almost wonder if this is actually some kind of fallback/placeholder, like if somehow TV Tropes's servers cant feed a random trope page it just automatically returns this page to prevent something nastier like a crash.
People are talking about over at https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/query.php?type=bug.
SpaceBattles.com fanworks (unnoficial) index in my Sandbox.I've noticed this too. What the hell is going on? Is this someone's idea of a joke?
Maybe they should try rebooting the site itself, if that's possible.
... Aaaaaaaaaaand it's doing it again.
My dA: https://www.deviantart.com/toko90sStill doing it, to the point that this site is now unusable after the page popped up after a "random" click.
There's a potential example in Literature/Hogfather where the 'computer' Hex is asked about the problem of the novel and responds with the message "Please reinstall universe and reboot". Don't have the book to hand, so not sure of the exact context or if it fits here.
Why is the random trope button always sending me here?
