That would be Holding Out for a Hero, just played out on the personal scale
Grew a Spine and Took a Level in Badass for when this is the staging for a story arc about learning to be their own hero. May involve You Are Better Than You Think You Are if someone else helps them on this path.
Conditioned to Be Weak if they had the resources/physical ability/skills/powers/etc to save themselves at any point, but believed that any attempt was hopeless or undeserved.

Hello.
This time I am looking for something that is exactly like the trope name indicates, that is, a person that feels trapped and desperately wants someone to be their knight in shining armor to come and save them from their situation. It is not necessarily that they are a Damsel in Distress but they still feel trapped and they hate their situation. The actual Holding Out for a Hero does not appear to cover this instance.
Anything that might fit?
