Character-Specific Pages (CSPs) are created when individual characters have so many trope examples that they can't reasonably be included on a shared page.
The Administrivia Character-Specific Pages policy details the rules that apply to these pages. All Character-Specific Pages must also follow the basic How to Create a Character Page policy, as well as the wiki's more general policies about spoilers and examples.
This cleanup thread handles the following tasks:
- Reviewing and approving new CSP proposals. All new potential CSPs must be reviewed and, if necessary, cleaned up before they're created.
- Agreeing on page names for new CSPs.
- Ensuring that wicks are updated when a new CSP is created.
- Reviewing existing CSPs if there's a concern that they need cleanup, or if it's believed that the character may no longer qualify for a page.
- Merging existing CSPs into other character pages when necessary.
- Ensuring that wicks are updated when a CSP is removed/merged.
- Creating, updating and cutting redirects, as necessary, to reflect these splits and merges.
Crowners are not normally required but, where appropriate, can be used to formalise decisions on any of these points.
If a character no longer qualifies for a CSP, it's often more practical to turn the CSP into a redirect than to cut the page entirely. This keeps the page history visible to users, and also helps to steer offsite 'inbound' traffic (search engine results) to the right place. With that in mind, cut requests for CSPs may be declined and referred to this thread if they don't have a clear consensus.
Comments linking back to this thread can be added to CSPs when needed - e.g. to confirm their creation was approved, to warn tropers that a cleanup is in progress, or to note the date and outcome of a more recent review.

Mod update 07 Mar 2024, reflecting new CSP policy, updated again 22 Mar 2024 to mention redirects for removed CSPs
- Other options must have been tried first, like splitting pages into further groups.
- The character's folder is cleaned up beforehand, fixing any Zero-Context Examples and Wall of Text entries and removing any outdated, misused, or non-character tropes.
- A character's folder is at least 6,000 words/40,000 characters (with spaces). Here is a byte counter.note
- The current character page bypasses technical limitations and requires a split up.
- A single character takes up the majority of a page or is disproportionately bigger than other folders.
Splitting a character into their own page is a major change and needs to be run by the community before it is enacted. Even if you believe a character meets these requirements, they should be run through this thread first. Having other tropers take a look can help spot issues you may not notice or believe to be issues.
Per How to Create a Character Page, character-specific pages should only include tropes that describe the character. These tropes should fall under Characterization Tropes or one of its related indexes, unless they're recurring character traits (distinctive things that the character does repeatedly). If you're unsure what counts as a character trope, you can ask the Are these Character Tropes? thread.
If you have concerns with a general character page, they have their own separate cleanup thread, as do the self-demonstrating character pages.

Has the page been checked for misuse/walls of text/non-narrative tropes? It should be cleaned before any splitting is done. If that's done then the next solution would be to split the page into two groups, rather than split off 3 CSPs. Main characters pt.1 and pt.2

Well the Main Characters page was already split into two pages several weeks ago but I'll keep an eye on walls of text/misuse etc..
Also to note, Sephiroth is eligible but I feel he can be on standby for the time being as Final Fantasy VII Remake – Antagonists and Bosses is around the 226k mark but hasn't hit the too long warning yet.

Characters.The Beginning After The End Vritra Clan is now 255,972 characters/bytes. While I have not yet noticed a "Too Long" warning just yet, as it has reached the 250k mark I am wondering if it would be alright to reinstate Agrona Vritra's Character Specific Page, as his section is 83,243 characters/bytes. Not to mention that as the novel is nearing its endgame it is quite likely his and a few other characters' sections on the page (Seris, Nico, and Cecilia) will end up growing to accommodate for recent plot developments.

The Sovereigns section is 92,831 bytes, the vast majority of which is made up by Agrona's folder (which as already mentioned is 83,243 bytes). The Scythes section is 89,281 bytes. Of the individual Scythes, the byte counts are:

I only have one response leering towards option 2 and there was a suggestion to remerge Miraculous Ladybug: United HeroeZ into Miraculous Ladybug: Heroes and if we go with option two what should the page be called? Miraculous Ladybug: Paris' Champions, Miraculous Ladybug Marinette And Adrien or Miraculous Ladybug Ladybug And Cat Nor?

@4479: With regard to Characters.Elden Ring Secondary Characters, are each of the sub-headers viable split candidates, or are some characters subdivided differently than what the best way to split them would be? Renowned Ashes seems like a category of character, but most of the secondary-characters page seems to be soft-split by location followed by several "miscellaneous" categories.

Well, the Secondary Characters page is split weirdly, but I guess the Renowned Ashes are the Spirit Ashes found throughout the land, Locations are only where certain NPCs are found, Scattered NPCs are the groups found throughout the maps and Roaming NPCs and Historical & Unseen Characters are self-explanatory. Here are the byte counts for the sections.

Liurnia of the Lakes - 34,383 bytes
Caelid - 8,427 bytes
Mt. Gelmir - 9,143 bytes
Altus Plateau - 22,298 bytes
Mountaintops of the Giants - 11,298 bytes

I kinda hate to do this, but Ultra Series: Ultraman Belial and Ultraman Zero combined would be under 200k. The only issue is the former has several folders.
EDIT: Ace Attorney probably needs a lot of work, but Ace Attorney: Dahlia Hawthorne is 61k+ characters and yet BIGGER than Ace Attorney: Witnesses and Other Characters - Trials and Tribulations, so the latter can absorb the former.
EDIT 2:
- Ace Attorney: Wright Anything Agency~113k characters
Apollo can be absorbed, MAYBE Phoenix (around 236k total).
- Ace Attorney: Main Prosecutors~121k

~samicable split Characters.Final Fantasy VII Remake Cloud from Characters.Final Fantasy VII Remake Remake Main Characters as it was "a third of the page's length" and was triggering the warning. I don't know if there's necessarily a problem with this (the page doesn't have any subdivisions beyond the individual characters), but I want to run it by here just to be sure (and also give both pages a once-over for cleanup).

Morgan Wick, when I was in the process of slimming down the Remake characters page, it was about 340,000 characters long, with almost 100,000 of those characters being in Cloud's entry, so I moved him to his own page to help make the page shorter. Also, since FFVII Remake's story is still ongoing, his entry will only get longer in the future, so I opted to make the split.
