Tropes about characters who look a lot like other characters, or even real-world people. The resemblance may have a logical explanation or it may just be a coincidence.
A character who is deliberately impersonating another character doesn't count. For simplicity's sake, we'll also leave out characters that have been "duplicated" by some means; we can just assume that they look the same. (This includes clones, twins, past/future selves, etc.) If you're interested in any of those scenarios, see the Doppelgänger index.

- Comic-Book Fantasy Casting: Drawn or animated characters are made to look like a real-world celebrity.
- Family Eye Resemblance: Family members may look different in other ways, but their eyes look alike.
- Generic Cuteness: Most characters in a drawn or animated work look alike because the artist used a default "cute" aesthetic.

- Look-Alike Lovers: A pair of lovers look a lot more similar than you would expect.
- Only One Female Mold: In a drawn or animated work, all female characters look identical from the neck down.
