Fake ASMR is an ASMR roleplay channel on YouTube. Or, more accurately, an Affectionate Parody of ASMR roleplays. Some of her videos are romantic, while many others are parodies or deconstructions of common roleplay tropes. While some of her videos are disconnected in plot and not part of a big story, many are part of a series - typically 3 or 4 videos but a few run as long as 7.
Her channel can be found HERE. Commission info can be found HERE.
Fake ASMR provides examples of:
- Berserk Button: People saying her vocal fry makes her sound like a female version of Solid Snake. She's heard it a few times already.
- Cute Monster Girl: So extremely common (see Fantasy Kitchen Sink below) that to list every monster would be a herculean task. Or at least it would be, if there wasn't a playlist with every example.
- Demonic Possession: The listener's girlfriend screwed up a demonic summoning, resulting in her soul being sucked to the underworld and the demon taking her body. The demon reveals the girlfriend was not only cheating on the listener, but *planning to sell the listener's soul*.
- Divine Date: A few videos involve the listener's girlfriend being a goddess.
- Fantasy Kitchen Sink: There are goddesses, demons, aliens, vampires, catgirls, wolfgirls, giantesses, dragons, necromancers, etc. And those are just the ones with multiple videos!
- Giant Woman: Giantesses are one of the many unusual creatures to make multiple appearnces in her roleplays.
- Little Bit Beastly: Quite a few of her videos involve the listener being a Neko.
- One particular video has her diagnosing the listener with "Nekosis," an in-universe disease caused by getting bit by a cat that causes your hearing to slowly fade and your ears to slowly numb until they fall off and are replaced with cat ears.
- Another two-part video tells the story of the listener suffering Laser-Guided Karma after stealing a potion from a witch that will "increase their cuteness." It turns them into a Neko, and the witch forces them to work off the debt in order to cover the expenses for the reversal potion.
- Purgatory and Limbo: One roleplay depicts the afterlife has having a *literal waiting room* complete with numbers to be called.
- Summoning Ritual: Sometimes played straight, but inverted in one instance where a demon summons the *listener*.
- The Stinger: Most of her videos have Fake giving a one-liner at the end, usually commenting on the script.
- The Symbiote: One series features the listener inadvertently becoming host to a symbiote that greatly enhances their physical attributes.
- Tsundere: Mostly Played for Laughs. One of the many things Fake has turned Tsundere is your computer.
- Yandere: Parodied and Played for Laughs. Yandere characters show up a lot - in fact one of Fake's most popular roleplays is "Yandere Girl Kidnaps You, But You're Cool With It".
