Star Wars Eclipse is an upcoming video game by Quantic Dream and a tie-in to Lucasfilm's Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project, seemingly closer to the events of The Phantom Menace than other works in the series. In an effort that appears to be a departure from Quantic Dream's usual formula, the title is said to be much more action-driven than anything that the studio has worked on before.
In a story set decades before the time of the Skywalkers, many seemingly-unconnected paths align as a galaxy that's enjoyed a long period of peace is beginning to move towards war once again, as the Force falls out of balance. Players will explore the lives of a variety of characters across all walks of life, as their every action can change the course of history.
