The Books

1. The Secret Path: Adam Freeman moves to Springville, and after meeting two kids named Sally and Watch, discovers that the town has scary secrets hiding in plain sight.
2. The Howling Ghost: After Cindy Mackey's little brother is kidnapped by a ghost, Adam and the gang are tasked with rescuing him.
3. The Haunted Cave: The kids explore a creepy mysterious cave and discover a race of creatures called the Hyeet.
4. Aliens in the Sky: Sally and Cindy must come to the rescue when Adam and Watch are kidnapped by aliens.
5. Cold People: A race of cold creatures invade Spooksville.
6. The Witch's Revenge: The gang visits the mysterious witch Ann Templeton's castle to see if she can help with a problem, only for them to get trapped inside.
7. The Dark Corner: The gang visits the Secret Path again to find a boy named Bryce, and discover a heavenly version of Spooksville that isn't what it seems.
8. The Little People (referred to as Pans' Realm in the reprint): When magical creatures invade Spooksville, the gang must travel to the world they came from to help Pan get his castle back.
9. The Wishing Stone: The gang discovers a wishing stone, only to find out it was made by aliens and making the wishes causes them to stack up a ton of debt that the aliens want them to pay off.
10. The Wicked Cat: Sally takes a liking a mysterious cat that turns out to be more than it seems.
11. The Deadly Past: The gang must team up with Bryce after dinosaurs invade Spooksville.
12. The Hidden Beast: After Bryce's cousin Leah is given a special map, the gang goes on a treasure hunt. They'll have untold riches, if they can get past the dragon guarding it.
13. The Creature in the Teacher: School is back in session, but there seems to be something...off about their teacher.
14. The Evil House: The kids become trapped in a cursed house on Halloween which turns them into their costumes.
15. Invasion of the No-Ones: Energy-based extra dimensional beings crossover into Spooksville, and begin to possess people.
16. Time Terror: The kids discover a wind-up toy that allows them to travel through time.
17. The Thing in the Closet: Cindy is kidnapped by a closet monster.
18. Attack of the Giant Crabs: Giant crabs attack the beach.
19. Night of the Vampire: A gang of vampires invade the town and the only way to stop them is to defeat the queen.
20. The Dangerous Quest: Someone has cast a wicked spell on Watch, and the only way to save him is to journey into another dimension.
21. The Living Dead: The kids must fight off zombies that rise from the cemetery.
22. The Creepy Creature: A blob monster from the woods assumes the form of whoever it devours.
23. Phone Fear: The kids start getting mysterious phone calls, from someone who tells them to obey it, or else...
24. The Witch's Gift: Ann calls the kids over to her castle, announcing her plans to leave.

The Series

1. "The Secret Path": In this two-part premiere, a boy named Adam and his father move to Springsville (nicknamed "Spooksville" because of the bizarre goings-on said to happen) after Adam's mother disappears, and, after encountering a spider-lizard creature in his room, teams up with two kids, a girl named Sally, and a nerdy boy named Watch, who go back in time to 1771 to find clues about the town's origins and the possible disappearance of Adam's mom.
2. "The Evil House": Sally, Watch, and Adam investigate a haunted house after a neighbor kid goes missing, but must get out before the house's magic turns the kids into their costumes.
3. "The Howling Ghost": Another boy vanishes, and the trio end up investigating his disappearance at a haunted lighthouse.
4. "The Haunted Cave": Sally, Watch, and Adam go inside a mysterious cave that may be the key in finding out what happened to Adam's mother.
5. "The Thing in the Closet": A monster who feeds on other people's nightmares appears in Sally's room, and Adam and Watch must rescue her when she is captured.
6. "The Fire Inside": Sally is cursed to breathe fire by Ann Templeton, a mean girl with magic powers, and if Adam and Watch don't stop her, Sally could die.
7. "The Wishing Stone": The trio find a metal cube in the trash that can grant all their wishes, but when a robotic alien comes for his payment (which is slave labor on his home planet), Sally, Watch, and Adam must try to save themselves.
8. "The Wicked Cat": Supernatural cats come to town and, when Sally is turned into a kitten, Adam and Watch must call upon Ann again to help Sally.
9. "The No Ones": Watch isn't feeling very merry about the upcoming Christmas holiday, but that all changes when he meets a girl who may be interested in him — for a plot to bring about an alien invasion.
10. "The Dark Corner": Ann's attempt at helping Adam find his lost mother sends her and the trio into a parallel universe in which Springsville has been ravaged by a zombie apocalypse.
11. "Shell Shock": Sally's day with her family at the yacht club turns into yet another bizarre mystery when a giant mutant crab pirate begins attacking people.
12. "Flowers of Evil": Everyone in Lizzie Borden High is brainwashed by a strange plant a science teacher found in the woods as part of his Internet documentary series and Sally and Ann (who hate each other) are the only ones who can stop it.
13. "Phone Fear": During a survivalist trip at a logging camp, a strange fog begins picking off students one by one, and only Watch, Sally, and Adam can stop him.
14. "Critical Care": When Adam takes his mother to the hospital after she sleepwalks in his room and collapses, Watch ends up there as well with a nasty case of tonsillitis, but things get weird when Watch's tonsils run off and the trio thinks the hospital's strange nursing assistant may be reviving disembodied organs for a sinister plot.
15. "Blood Drive": During the school's blood drive, vampires invade the school and the gang must find the head vampire to stop them.
16. "Fathers and Sons": Adam, Watch, and Sally go on a camping trip, where a hairy creature who may or may not be the legendary Bigfoot is raiding their campsite.
17. "Gnome Alone": Sally breaks her mother's lawn gnome and hides it, which causes the other gnomes in her yard to avenge its death.
18. "Oh, Monster, My Monster": Adam takes his driver's license test with a neurotic instructor who knows a little too much about dying behind the wheel. Meanwhile, Watch discovers the diary of Dr. Vic Frankenstein and Frankenstein's monster and revives the monster so he can use him to fight back against bullies.
19. "The Maze": Watch and Adam get stuck in a strange maze, and Sally discovers it has connections with the mayor, who's memory is fading.
20. "Run": Adam discovers why his mother had gone missing.
21. "Stone": Adam wakes up in an alternate reality in which Watch and Sally don't know him.
