  • Ben plays the role of a father during the record riff in "Christmas Special 2014". His care and concern for his (fictional) daughter is actually quite sweet.
    • Later in the episode, after the riff on the "personalized" video of Santa (addressed to "Amber"), there's this:
Ben: That segment was just for (cut to stilted, zoomed-in shot of Ben pointing to and smiling at the camera) you, Amber.
    • And then, at the close:
Ben: Well gang, that's it for this year's Archive Christmas... thing. Join us next year when we're joined by (cut to previous stilted, zoomed-in shot of Ben) you, Amber.
    • It's all a gag, but it's still somewhat heartwarming. And then Ben's genuine, "Merry Christmas, gang" is genuinely sweet.
  • At the end of "Bye Bye Blippie", which explains Oddity Archive's removal from Blip and what it would mean for the Archive, Ben thanks his fans for their support during the process and then promises to keep giving them as good a show as possible, because he believes that it's the fans who matter, not Blip. It's especially heartwarming because the whole debacle was clearly quite taxing for Ben.
  • "Ben Tries Finnish Candy". A viewer from Finland (@StrawberryWarr) sent Ben some candy, which is a pretty sweet thing in and of itself. Ben then spends the episode trying the candy, with various levels of enjoyment. At the end, he thanks the viewer a lot for sending it in. He really does seem touched that someone would do that.
  • Regardless of whether or not Archive is really endingnote , Ben's closing speech at the end of Episode 78 about how he and the Archive dwellers will always be together in some way, even if Archive is ending, is really heartwarming.
  • The concept of Episode 79, where Ben claims he tried finding alternate ways to broadcast Archive after being "cancelled", is kind of sweet. The Cold Open, where he reacts with tired joy when his microbroadcast of Archive is successful, is particularly nice.
  • The ending of the final episode in the "Ben's Music 'Career'" subseries has Ben delivering a message to his viewers, one made all the more powerful by how long Ben tried to start his own career before going on an indefinite hiatus, not to mention the rare, uncensored Precision F-Strike he gives.
With regards to any creative endeavor: Just. Fucking. Do it. And I'm not gonna censor that F-bomb there, I think I earned that one. So, my attitude is, make that record. Make that movie. Paint that painting. You don't have to release it, but if you do—and I kinda recommend you do—no matter how much you suck, no matter how many slings and arrows you take for it, it's still—and I can say this from both personal experience and from friends, that it's still a hell of a lot better than knowing what might have been, because that is what will eat away at you for the rest of your life.
  • Vampess Ben deciding to dance with EAS Bot in Episode 227 is sweet. It's all a ploy to get EAS Bot to leave Ben alone, but Ben sells the enthusiasm very well.
I feel different. I've never felt like this before. I actually feel like dancing. [giggle]
Come on, I am not going to dance by myself!
