A free-form role playing game based on Pokémon on Nintendo Wars fansite Wars Central.
The Wars Central Pokémon RP is a Play-by-Post Game based on Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen with elements from other games as well as Pokémon Adventures and the Pokémon anime. For example, while the basic plot is that of FRLG, the executives from Pokemon Heart Gold And Soul Silver show up, along with Team Rocket's Three Beasts from the manga.
The story is based around a group of trainers who travel Kanto together, collecting badges in order to take part in the Indigo League. They often stumble into the plots of Team Rocket, who seem intent on establishing dominion on the Kanto region for profit.
The game itself can be found here with discussion and sign-ups here.
This game provides examples of:
- All There in the Manual: A lot of information about the player characters can be found in the sign-ups.
- Captured Super-Entity: Sird's Darkrai. Sid invokes this by suggesting the group hunt down their own legendary Pokémon to face it.
- Duels Decide Everything: Averted against Team Rocket for the most part. Pokémon Battles against Rocket Grunts come about because the Grunts try to get their Pokémon to attack people. As such, their victims send out their own Pokémon in self defence.
- To Be a Master: Naturally, many of the player characters are examples of this in some way or another.
- You Can't Thwart Stage One: Although Team Rocket have been beaten three times, they had already completed their objective in each place (taking fossils in Mt. Moon, taking Pokémon remains in Pokémon Tower and cloning Mew in the Celadon HQ).
Characters
The player characters as a whole provide examples of:
- In-Series Nickname: They've been called "Team Saviours" In-Universe.

Michael Ivanova (Craig)
A Pokémon tamer and breeder from just across the border in Johto. He is not travelling to take the gym challenge or to fill a Pokédex, rather to gather field experience with the hopes of becoming a professional tamer/breeder in the future. Erika

Sabrina
Saffron City's Gym Leader. Along with Surge and Whitney leads the group in an attempt to undo the infestation of wild Pokémon in the Power Plant, before challenging them to a battle.- Psychic Powers - Not only do her Pokémon have them but she herself is capable of seeing the future, reading minds and moving objects through sheer willpower.
Team Rocket as a whole has examples of:
- Power Trio:
- Between the Co-Dragons. Sird is Id, Ariana is Ego, Archer is Superego.
- The Three Beasts too - Sird is Id (again), Orm is Ego, Carr is Superego.
Proton
The first Executive that the group encounter, Proton oversaw Team Rocket's fossil theft at Mt. Moon. Although he was apparently arrested at Pokémon Tower, he was able to participate in Team Rocket's attack on Fuchsia City. Like in the games he has a borderline-psychotic cruel streak.- Butt-Monkey - Lost at Mt. Moon, but that's pretty standard. Lost again at Pokémon Tower and was promptly arrested. Lost for a third time in Fuchsia City in a Curb-Stomp Battle with Sid's Pidgeotto, which evolved into Pidgeot straight after wiping out the first of Proton's three Pokémon.
One of Team Rocket's Three Beasts, Orm provides additional muscle. Despite his appearance he's a rather gentle soul.
Sird
The leader of the Three Beasts, subservient only to Team Rocket's leader. Sird is enigmatic and incredibly powerful.- Captured Super-Entity: Her Darkrai, who in turn is used to keep Mewtwo under control.
- For the Evulz: Her main motivation for carrying out Team Rocket's plans, apparently.
