‘’Dragon Quest: Angels Of A Sleeping World’’, also known as Dragon Quest RP - Angels Of A Sleeping World and simply Angels Of A Sleeping World is a 2015 Dragon Quest Play-By-Post Game roleplay that utilizes Attorney Online as a platform. It stars several crossover characters from Touhou Project, Danganronpa, Ace Attorney, Shin Megami Tensei, and even The World Ends with You and Corpse Party, and some Original Characters whose sprites and designs were hand crafted by the players themselves. Furthermore, it uses a turn-based combat system.

Unmarked spoilers abound!
Asaka Nachi
- Actual Pacifist: Subverted when she kills Mary.
- All-Loving Heroine: Reconstructed. Even though he was going to marry her off to a lizard and essentially used her as a tool to further his plans, Asaka still loves her father.
- The reason it was Deconstructed in the first place was because she realized that she viewed him through a filtered reality: from Asaka’s perspective, Mondo was responsible for every good thing that ever befell her, as her provider, her protector, her ... parent, but all he really cared about was the Reptilian Order. Lizards. Lizards lizards lizards.
- Reconstructed when although Mondo was indeed a sack of shit, he really did seem to care about her at the last minute when he warns her that if she goes with Sho he'll probably kill her at some point, whereas before he did not care about her being dead or alive, according to the bounty posters. The very implication that he cared, even if it was too late, made her forgive him.

- Apologises a Lot: Invoked. Apologises to the painters immediately after defeating them and asks them if they're okay.
- Beware the Nice Ones: Word of God doesn't call her "160 Decibels" for nothing.
- Charm Person: One of the stats that the Siren needs most, in fact, is Charm.
- He Is Not My Boyfriend: Her reaction towards the secret assassin newspaper paparazzi who attempt to paint her and Sho at first. Because he's just her guardian angel, that's all.Asaka Nachi: It's not like that!
- Horrible Judge of Character: The reason Shikashi was able to slip by her undetected.
- Magic Idol Singer: Her class, the Siren utilizes her voice to aid her allies and cripple her enemies.
- The Ingenue: Hands down, innocent like she was from the Fairy World. Oh, wait.
- The Pollyanna: You know, seeing her father killed by Sho didn't really seem to have any effect on her. She did care for him, though, since he was literally her only family member she knew of.
- Sheltered Aristocrat: Apparently spent most of her life in Ongard living with her father the Mayor.
Sho Minazuki
- Pungeon MasterSho Minazuki: I have a cult. It's a CULT above the rest!
Tomoe Tokiwa
- Tsundere: Type A, Tragic Past-class Tsundere.
Yume
- Pet the Dog: Shiki kills her mother right after said mother 'gives birth to the poor little dragon.'
Makoto Naegi
- Took a Level in Jerkass: Compared to his appearance in canon Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc.
Diane Makepeace/"Lune"
- Love Interest: To Naegi?
Carmine
- Big Bad: At least, in Dream Somina.
Akatsuki
Aya Shameimaru
Kotoko Utsugi/"Captain Sarah Sugar"
- Older Than They Look: Looks way, way underage.Sugar: I'm '18!'
Sakutaro Morishige
- Ax-Crazy: If he was anything even mildly like he was portrayed in canon. Some his actions could be interpreted as this, notably his particularly brutal murder of May's former minder (even if May is the one who actually does the deed).
- Casting a Shadow: One of the scrolls May gives him contains the dark magic Zammle.
- Manipulative Bastard: Almost from the moment he arrives in the DQ World with the others it's clear he has an ulterior agenda, and deliberately goes out of his way to avoid the rest of the cast...with the exception of Atarashi. It gets to the point where they deliberately orchestrate a trial in attempt to get their former party members convicted of piracy by claiming to be hostages.
- Serious Business: Attempts to treat the trial in Ongard like this, however it becomes blatantly obvious that he and Atarashi are stringing it along in an attempt to convict their former party members of being pirates.
- Worthy Opponent: Particularly impressed by the way Eiki sneaks around Dominic's base near Somina.
Sakaro Maizono
- Gender Bender: Used to be [[Sayaka Maizono. Is now possibly an entirely different character.
- Unusual Ears: He's a neko.
The roleplay contains examples of:
- Arranged Marriage: Part of Asaka's 'motivation' for killing Mary Shikashi, as Shikashi was the one who gave her father this idea.
- Big Bad: Carmine is firmly established as this, killing people left and right without batting an eye, especially after the Somina Takeover.
- Big Damn Heroes: Sho deflects a dagger aimed at Asaka with a sword.
- Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Anna in the pre-timeskip Monastery murder mystery. Justified when you realize she had her own reasons against a certain other member of the Monastery.
- Bodyguard Crush: Downplayed. Word of God confirmed that Asaka admires Sho to some platonic extent because he protects her.
- Catchphrase: Marisa's "ze", as portrayed in Touhou.
- Chivalrous Pervert: Shiki. He is very reluctant to harm females... and also stole the Queen's panties back in Feminel.
- Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: Frederick. He slaps the queen of Feminel and then tames a sea god.
- Dimensional Traveler: All the characters in the roleplay basically travel around different worlds at any given time. However, sometimes it is limited and sometimes people randomly travel as a result.
- Medieval Stasis: Well, you can't expect anything to change in two months, but you know it's justified when the world they live in is all a simulation, so they are literally trapped without any technological advance.
- Protected by a Child: Morishige and Atarashi to a lesser extent, both having child companions with them. Shiki also fits this bill with his own Miracle-Gro Monster
- Protectorate: The Children of Fate as a whole. Who's their guardian? Each other.
- Asaka to Sho, who claims he is her Guardian Angel. (He's not actually an angel, though.)
- Superpower Lottery: Carmine. He single-handedly caused a demon takeover in dream-world Somina and also kills the king and forces the princess to make him and his focus the rulers of Somina, all at level 1.
- Taken for Granite:
- In the fairy world where Fairy Princess Lea was turned to ice.
- The Chosen One: Eiki Yamaxanadu, played by Slind, just happens to have a title of "The Holy One", and yes, this title is Exactly What It Says on the Tin.
- Yaoi Fangirl: Word of God says Asaka◊ is this.
