Chris Terrio (born December 31, 1976 in New York City) is an American screenwriter, director, producer and playwright.
Once an assistant to James Ivory, he won a number of nominations and awards for the screenplay of Ben Affleck's Argo, including the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay, the Writers Guild Award for Best Adapted Screenplay, and nominations for the Golden Globe Award for Best Screenplay, a BAFTA and the 2013 Los Angeles Film Critics Award for Best Adapted Screenplay.
He is also known for his collaboration with Zack Snyder on two DC Extended Universe films, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League.

- What Could Have Been: After the release of Batman v Superman, Terrio and Ben Affleck worked on the script a solo Batman film. One Justice League meltdown and several Warner Bros./DC Films shenanigans later, the project was seemingly scrapped, with the Matt Reeves-written and directed The Batman taking its place.
