Tony Stark/Iron Man

Iron Man is the heroic identify of wealthy philanthropist Tony Stark. Tony is a former weapons manufacturer who became a superhero after an incident that nearly killed him. Leading him to become "The Invincible Iron Man".
- Badass Bookworm: Like with most versions of the character, Tony is a very intelligent man.
- Chest Blaster: Iron Man's iconic uni-beam weapon, powered by his chest reactor.
- Gadgeteer Genius: Tony is a super genius capable of building all sorts of technological devices.
- Red Is Heroic: Wears his iconic red armor.
- Vitriolic Best Buds / Intergenerational Friendship: With Makoto. While the pair tend too snark with each other often, they both respect and care for each other nonetheless.
- Wouldn't Hurt a Child: Tony doesn't like it when the kids put themselves in danger.
Steve Rogers/Captain America

Originally a frail, sickly young man, Steve Rogers was the first recipient of a super soldier formula. He would then be forever transformed, becoming Captain America, a World War II hero.
- Captain Geographic: Captain America
- Iconic Item: Steve's iconic shield.
- Improbable Weapon User: Steve uses his shield in a variety of ways.
- Luckily, My Shield Will Protect Me: The most basic use of his shield is to defend himself.
- Shield Bash: When he uses the shield as a melee weapon.
- Throwing Your Shield Always Works: Steve can likewise throw his shield as a ranged weapon which will often come flying back to him.
- My Greatest Failure: While not brought up as often in other media, he regrets failing to save Bucky during a mission gone awry.
- Primary-Color Champion: His uniform has his iconic color scheme, which is based on the American flag.
Thor

The Norse god of Thunder Thor helps to defend modern day Earth from threats both ancient and new. He is the elder brother of the treacherous Loki.
- Badass Cape: Thor wears a flowing red cape as per his iconic design.
- Big Brother Instinct: While suspicious of his little brother's motives, Thor is willing to give Loki the benefit of the doubt. Often trying to bring out the good in him.
- Cain and Abel: Thor is the Abel to Loki's Cain.
- Cool Helmet: Wears a winged Viking helmet as per his classic look.
- Flying Brick: Thor has a vast assortment of powers, including Flight, Super-Strength, Nigh-Invulnerability, and Weather Manipulation/Shock and Awe.
- Thunder Hammer: Wields his iconic Mjölnir.
Hulk
Voiced by: Kenichirō Matsuda (Japanese); Fred Tatasciore (English)
Mutated by exposure to Gamma Radiation, Bruce Banner became The Hulk. He's now one of the Avengers, having proven himself as one of Earth's Mightiest Heroes.
- Adaptational Intelligence: While Hulk still prefers to smash his enemies. His intellect is considerably higher in this series. Also, he's perfectly capable of speaking grammatically correct sentences.
- The Atoner: Hulk felt so badly after the damage he'd caused due to the Green Goblin. He later tried to make up for it by fighting the Goblin himself.
- Bash Brothers: He fights very well alongside Thor.
- The Big Guy: The biggest and most physically strong of the Avengers.
- Brainwashed and Crazy: Done via the Green Goblin's poisonous gas.
Janet van Dyne/Wasp

The Wasp is a hero with the ability to change her size. She firmly believes that Makoto and his friends can make a difference as superheroes, which prompts her to agree to let them join the Avengers.
- Action Girl: Wasp can keep up with all the male Avengers.
- Adaptational Badass: This version of Wasp can easily hold her own against villains like Kang.
- Beware the Nice Ones: Janet is very kind and nurturing with the kids, but making her angry is unwise.
- Flying Firepower: Wasp can fly thanks to her wings and can fire off bio-electrical energy blast she calls the "Wasp Sting".
- The Heart: She was the first Avenger to suggest allowing Makoto and his friends to join the team.
- Sizeshifter: Janet is capable of transforming from her normal human size to tiny size instantly.
Makoto
Voiced by: Aki Kanada (Japanese); Max Mittelman (English)
The self proclaimed leader of the Future Avengers. Makoto is brave, impulsive and reckless. Makoto has a keen desire to help others. His "Aerial Act" allows him to manipulate air and wind. His codename is "Hurricane".
- All-Loving Hero: Makoto cares about everyone no matter who they are. He also never loses faith in Bruno.
- Blow You Away: A standard use for his wind/air manipulation.
- Determinator: Makoto can at times be lazy. But he doesn't tend to give up easily.
- Fanboy: Makoto is a huge fan of heroes, the Avengers included.
- Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: The Foolish Sibling to Adi's and Bruno's Responsible Sibling.
- Hot-Blooded: Makoto is definitely emotional in nearly every situation.
- Samaritan Syndrome: Makoto can't resist helping others.
Adi
Voiced by: Atsushi Tamaru (Japanese); Xander Mobus (English)
Adi acts as the eldest of the three Future Avengers and is the most mature member of the group. His "Technical Act" allows him to manipulate almost any kind of technology. His codename is "Codec".
- Bad "Bad Acting": Adi isn't very good at lying, he's also a terrible actor. During Makoto's plan to draw out Captain Marvel's imposter. Adi has to read his lines, from an actual script. Even with the aid, his delivery is extremely wooden.
- Big Brother Instinct: Adi will go to great lengths to protect Makoto and Chloé.
- Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: The Responsible Sibling to Makoto's Foolish Sibling.
- The Lancer: Adi is a mitigating factor to Makoto's recklessness.
- Teen Genius: Thanks no doubt to his Technical Act.
- Technopath: Adi has the ability to control and manipulate technology with his thoughts.
- The Smart Guy: Adi serves as the Future Avengers' brains, tactics, Technopath abilities and all.
Chloé
Voiced by: Juri Kimura (Japanese); Jeannie Elias (English)
Chloé is the third member of the Future Avengers. Her "Camouflage Act" gives her the ability to disguise herself as anyone she wants. Her codename is "Charade".
- Action Girl: Thanks to her training Chloé can keep up with Makoto and Adi, though her superpowers are noncombative in nature.
- Animorphism: While not demonstrated in the anime, according to the Future Fight Firsts. Chloé can shapshift into animals (such as cats) as well as people.
- Beware the Nice Ones: Chloé is usually friendly, but she's not afraid to speak her mind when angry.
- Deadpan Snarker: Chloé has a sharp sense of humor, which she's more than happy to use.
- Double Weapon: Chloé often fights with tonfas, using them as her main weapons.
- Like Brother and Sister: Said by Thor when he mentions that she's like a sister to Adi. She later explains to Black Panther that she sees Makoto as a little brother.
- Male Gaze: A brief shot in episode 15 gives a full view of Chloe’s assets.
- Voluntary Shapeshifting: Her "Camouflage Act" allows Chloé to look (and even sound) like anyone she wants. Though it seems she can't copy other people's superpowers.
Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers
Voiced by: Eriko Hirata (Japanese); Erica Lindbeck (English)
A part-time member of the Avengers who gained superpowers after an encounter with the Kree.
- Badass Teacher: Her civilian job in this continuity is schoolteacher. Her students consider her very, very cool.
- The Captain: Carol is Captain Marvel, because she was also in the Air Force.
- Energy Absorption: One of her main powers is taking in energy from attacks. She once told Iron Man to launch a Unibeam at her to take its energy and give Hulk a hand in defeating Ares; her acquired energy let her actually give Ares a bruising.
- Friend to All Children: Carol is kind and gentle with children.
- Flying Brick: She can fly, has super strength, and can fire energy blasts from her hands.
- In Name Only: Other than her name, looks and powers, this Captain Marvel shares nothing in common with her comic book counterpart.
- Light 'em Up: Shoots energy blasts from her hands strong enough to knock Ares off his feet.
- Nice Girl: Carol is a decent person and friendly. She's also very modest and humble about her superhero work.
Clint Barton/Hawkeye
Voiced by: Kiyoshi Katsunuma (Japanese); Christopher Corey Smith (English)
A former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent and part-time Avenger, Hawkeye is an expert archer.
- Badass Biker: His favored mode of transport is a nice bike.
- Badass Normal: No super powers to speak of, but he's a highly trained ex-SHIELD agent, a part-time Avenger, and can fight and shoot very accurately with a bow and arrow, what with his Improbable Aiming Skills.
- Cool Shades: He's got a nice purple set.
- Improbable Aiming Skills: Many of Hawkeye's shots are objectively impossible.
- My Friends... and Zoidberg: While not treated like this by the Avengers themselves, several men broke into his apartment and discovered his superhero costume. Despite that they failed to recognize him as either a superhero or an Avenger.
- The Straight and Arrow Path: Like all versions of Hawkeye, he favors the use of bow and arrow.
Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow
Voiced by: Mayumi Asano (Japanese); Laura Bailey (English)
An ex-Russian spy now an elite operative for S.H.I.E.L.D. and part-time Avenger. She's also Hawkeye's former partner.
- Form-Fitting Wardrobe: She wears a Spy Cat Suit that is made out of leather and is very tight fitting.
- Mother Russia Makes You Strong: While it can be assumed that she's Russian, this version doesn't have the accent.
- Red Is Heroic: Natash has red hair and is a hero.
- Ship Tease: Her talks with Hawkeye can get a bit, playful.
- Spy Catsuit: She wears a very form fitting, black suit.
Peter Parker/Spider-Man
Voiced by: Shinji Kawada (Japanese); Robbie Daymond (English)
Spider-Man uses his superhuman strength, agility, and reflexes to protect the people of New York. After meeting the Future Avengers, he decided to act as a mentor for them.
- Animal Motif: The spider, naturally.
- Deadpan Snarker: As always, Spider-Man is the ultimate snarker.
- Determinator: He manages to hold up a bus full of civilians for several minutes while the Green Goblin was using the Hulkbuster to try and force it to crash into the city street below.
- Spider-Sense: One of his more unique superpowers which helps him sense danger in time for him to avoid it.
- Wall Crawling: Part of his powers is going on the walls like a spider.
Sam Wilson/The Falcon
Voiced by: Takuya Eguchi (Japanese); Bumper Robinson (English)
A longtime friend and part-time member of the Avengers team.
- Badass Normal: Like Tony, Sam is an ordinary human relying on a high-tech combat suit to fly.
- Clothes Make the Superman: He wears a winged flight suit.
- Feather Flechettes: His standard weapon.
- Flight: He can fly thanks to the Falcon suit.
- Razor Wings: Sam uses his wings as a melee weapon, basically turning his arms into giant blades.
- Underestimating Badassery: Bruno found out the hard way that he can fight just as well as any Avenger.
King T'Challa/Black Panther
Voiced by: Mahito Oba (Japanese); James C. Mathis III (English)
The proud warrior king of Wakanda, a highly advanced African nation.
- Absurdly Sharp Claws: Built into his Vibranium suit.
- Animal Themed Super Being: His costume and powers are based off his namesake animal.
- The Chains of Commanding: Chloé quickly learns that he is not a particularly cruel or mean man, but that being the ruler of an entire nation puts him under a lot of pressure to make difficult choices.
- Dark Is Not Evil: He wears a dark costume and has "Black" in his name, but he most definitely a hero.
- I Work Alone: He's initially wary of outsiders, though his opinion changes thanks in part to Chloé.
- Royals Who Actually Do Something: He rules over Wakanda, but that doesn't stop him from rushing off to fight supervillains.
Ms. Marvel/Kamala Khan
Voiced by: Akari Kitou (Japanese); Kathreen Khavari (English)
A teenage girl who becomes a costumed superhero after mysteriously gaining superpowers.
- Ascended Extra: She's only a minor character in the first season, but plays a major role in the second one.
- The Chosen One: Season 2 reveals that she's the first naturally occurring Inhuman due to getting hit with a mist, and is thus set up to be ruler of the Inhumans. She, nor the Avengers, like that too much.
- Fangirl: Specifically of Captain Marvel, whom she says is the best superhero and even impersonated for a time.
- The Knights Who Say "Squee!": She geeks out over finally meeting Captain Marvel in person.
- Rubber Man: She's able to stretch and grow her limbs.
- Scarf Of Ass Kicking: She wears a rather long one as part of her costume.
- Voluntary Shape Shifting: She can twist and reshape her entire body into basically anything she wants.
- Wake Up, Go to School, Save the World: Kamala has a tough time balancing her school work with superheroics.
Kid Kaiju/Kei Kawade

Kei Kawade is an avid fan of Kaiju (giant monsters). Kei is also a talented artist, who possesses the ability to bring to life the monsters he sketches.
- Children Are Innocent: The Avengers believed him and his Kaiju friends to be villains. Turns out they were wrong about the boy and his creature friends.
- Dark Is Not Evil: Just because he has dark and fearsome Kaiju monsters as friends, doesn't make him or any of them evil.
- Imagination-Based Superpower/The Power of Creation: His powers allow him to make his drawings come to life.
- Not Evil, Just Misunderstood: He's just a boy who loves drawing and wants to be friends with his Kaiju creations.
Black Bolt
Voiced by: Fred Tatasciore
An Inhuman, and ruler of Attilan. He can defeat enemies with his voice.
- Early-Bird Cameo: He and Medusa make a brief appearance at the end of the first season, foreshadowing their appearance in season two.
- The Good King: Black Bolt cares a great deal for his people, and any Inhuman.
- Happily Married: To Medusa.
- Make Me Wanna Shout: Black Bolt's most devastating Super Power is his actual voice. His voice is in fact so powerful he can never speak.
- The Voiceless: A necessity, considering his main power; he mainly has his wife Medusa speak his thoughts to others.
Medusa
Voiced by: Hiroko Ushida (Japanese); Erica Lindbeck (English)
- Action Girl: Capable of whacking other folks like policemen and Maximus's troops.
- Early-Bird Cameo: She and Black Bolt make a brief appearance at the end of the first season, foreshadowing their appearance in season two.
- Happily Married: With King Black Bolt.
- Prehensile Hair: Medusa has incredibly long red hair which can move independently of her.
Gorgon
Voiced by: Hiroshi Shikuma (Japanese); Aaron LaPlante (English)
- The Big Guy: Of the Inhuman Royal Family.
- Fauns and Satyrs: He resembles them due to his bull-like legs.
- Signature Headgear: The headband he wears has a horn-themed design.
Karnak
Voiced by: Hiroyuki Kinoshita (Japanese); Grant George (English)
- Awesomeness by Analysis: He possess the ability detect the weak points in anyone, even the Hulk.
- Bare-Fisted Monk: He relies exclusively on his hand-to-hand combat skills.
- Finger Poke of Doom: He can literally bring the Hulk to his knees with a finger poke.
- Sherlock Scan: Is capable of picking up on his opponents' weaknesses in a matter of seconds.
Triton

- Fish People: Triton looks like a human-fish hybrid creature.
- Warrior Prince: Triton is one of the younger members of the Inhuman Royal Family, though he appears older than Crystal.
Crystal

- Elemental Powers: Crystal possesses the ability to wield several elemental powers.
- Only Sane Man: She was initially the only member of the Royal family to side with Chloé and Kamala in being against the war with Earth and the humans.
Lockjaw

- Big Friendly Dog: Lockjaw is larger than any normal dog.
- Team Pet: The Inhumans' pet bulldog, but bigger.
- Teleporters and Transporters: He serves as this to the Inhuman Royal Family.
Villains
The Leader
Voiced by: Yoshihito Sasaki (Japanese); Benjamin Diskin (English)
The Leader is the villain who created the Masters of Evil.
- Beard of Evil: The Leader sports a thin mustache and beard.
- Big Bad Duumvirate: Formed one of these with Kang. Both together and individually, they create most of the conflict that the Avengers face in the first season, although Leader later happily admits that he's really more of Kang's servant, nether Loki nor the other Masters know this.
- Dragon Their Feet: Makes one last attempt on Makoto and Bruno's life after Kang's demise, but is promptly thwarted by Winter Soldier.
- Evil Genius: Is very intelligent and constantly boasts about how he's so much smarter than everyone else.
- Evil Gloating: Leader is very fond of doing this.
- My Brain Is Big: Has a very long head to invoke a huge head appearance.
Amora/The Enchantress
Voiced by: Ayumi Yonemaru (Japanese); Kari Wahlgren (English)
Amora, the Enchantress, is an Asgardian sorceress of considerable strength.
- Dark Magical Girl: Amora has magical powers that she uses primarily for evil.
- Hot Witch: The Enchantress is very beautiful when she isn't casting deadly magic.
- Long Hair Is Feminine: Amora is a female with long blonde hair.
- Ms. Fanservice: Amora is a very beautiful, blond haired woman.
- Squishy Wizard: Well, squishy is relative, being an Asgardian. But her main method of fighting is to use long-range magical attacks.
- Villainous Breakdown: Enchantress has one when she and Ares are exposed to the "Emerald Rain". Considering she'd been warned it could kill her and she'd previously refused to have anything to do with it, it's understandable.
Ares
Voiced by: Masami Iwasaki (Japanese); JB Blanc (English)
The Olympian God of War who prides himself on his strength and fights with a battle axe.
- Absurdly Sharp Blade: His axe, while large can also slice through metal.
- The Brute: As big as Hulk and boasts that he's stronger than him too.
- Brutish Character, Brutish Weapon Being the most directly violent and hot-blooded of the Masters of Evil, Ares often wields an axe in battle.
- Evil Counterpart: To Thor and Hulk. With Thor they are both gods and with Hulk are considered the "muscle" of the teams they are on.
- Genius Bruiser: While very brutish, he's very competent in the use of sophisticated weaponry.
- Physical God: He is an Olympian after all.
The Winter Soldier
Voiced by: Masayoshi Sugawara (Japanese); Yuri Lowenthal (English)
The Winter Soldier is a new member of the Masters of Evil. He was originally James "Bucky" Barnes, Steve Rogers's best and oldest friend. After a mission went wrong, Bucky ended up captured and brainwashed by HYDRA into becoming the Winter Soldier.
- Artificial Limbs: His left arm is a cybernetic replacement, it's a very durable prosthetic.
- The Atoner: After regaining his memories, Bucky willingly surrenders himself to the Winter Guard. Believing he deserves to be punished for all the crimes he committed while under HYDRA's control.
- Brainwashed and Crazy: Zola tried to have his memories wiped in order to make him easier to control. Though the process was apparently ineffective and needed to be done on a regular basis.
- Fallen Hero: Originally, Bucky was a good man who fought alongside Captain America on behalf of his country. Before he was subjected to brainwashing by HYDRA and forced into a Face–Heel Turn against his will.
- Heel–Face Turn: When he snaps free from his brainwashing, Bucky's memories are restored and he teams up with Steve to take down those responsible.
- Heterosexual Life-Partners: With Steve, the pair treat each other like brothers.
Bruno
Voiced by: Shinya Hamazoe (Japanese); Todd Haberkorn (English)
Bruno was once Makoto's good friend despite the intense rivalry between them. Despite this, Bruno was convinced by HYDRA, and later the Masters of Evil to turn his back on Makoto and his other friends. His codename is "Twister".
- The Atoner: What he decides to be after coming to terms with what he's done while working for the Masters of Evil.
- Back from the Dead: He was killed when the Avengers destroyed Red Skull's base. Only to be revived thanks to a combination of Red Skull's nanobots and the power of the "Emerald Rain".
- Heel–Face Turn: Eventually, after Makoto is able to save him from being killed by the instability of the Emerald Rain, he teams up with Makoto and the Avengers to make up for what he'd done.
- Sixth Ranger: After his Heel–Face Turn, he joins Makoto's team as their latest member codenamed Twister.
- Woobie, Destroyer of Worlds: Once he gains the power from the "Emerald Rain" project, Bruno lashes out at anyone who makes him angry.
Red Skull
Voiced by: Liam O'Brien (English)
The leader of HYDRA, and the one spearheading the Emerald Rain Project.- I Control My Minions Through...: For Bruno, it's a combination of fear and privileges. HYDRA made his body completely mechanical and can shut it down if he does anything funny, as Bruno explains. As a result, the poor guy must do everything HYDRA commands him to, even though he knows HYDRA is evil.
- Nanomachines: His new mech suit contains lots of nanomachines which can help him take a beating from the Avengers. They can be remotely controlled and can replace lost ones, though they aren't immune to Iron Man's hacking from his base.
- Small Role, Big Impact: He only shows up as a Starter Villain for the first two episodes, but he's the one who kickstarts the Future Avengers' story, beginning with making those kids think they're heroes, genetically engineering them into getting superpowers via the Emerald Rain Project, and causing the Avengers to investigate his scheme. In short, he's the guy who initiates the plot of Season One.
- Starter Villain: The first threat the Avengers face on screen.
Loki Odinson
Voiced by: Tadashi Muto (Japanese); Trevor Devall (English)
The younger brother of Thor, Loki is a dangerous sorcerer from Asgard.
- Adaptational Heroism: In the comics, Loki was a straight villain for the most part. Here he's more of an Anti-Villain, and eventually sides with the Avengers against Kang.
- Affably Evil: He is fairly polite and amiable, especially around the Future Avengers.
- Big Bad Wannabe: Being as self-absorbed as always. Loki stabs The Leader in the back, failing to realize Kang was the true mastermind behind the Emerald Rain project.
- Cain and Abel: He's the Cain to Thor's Abel.
- Magic Knight: Loki is a talented sorcerer, often employing his Master of Illusion spells to throw his enemies off balance, he's also proficient in cancelling out the magical spells of others.
- Master of Illusion: Loki is fond of using his magic to disguise himself to look like other people. He also appears to get very angry when Chloé basically beats him at his own game.
- Villainous Rescue: Returns at the end of the second season to foil Maximus' final assassination attempt on Black Bolt.
- You Remind Me of X: Loki admits that Makoto and Bruno's relationship reminds him of his own strained relationship with Thor.
Kang the Conqueror
Voiced by: Jiro Saito (Japanese); Steve Blum (English)
Kang is a time-traveling tyrant who rules the 41st century.
- Authority Equals Asskicking: He has impressive technology that allows him to take on all the Avengers at once.
- Big Bad: Of the first season.
- Conqueror from the Future: Or at least until he was finally defeated by the Inhumans.
- Cool Chair: His chair has shields that can stop Makoto's most powerful attacks and is able to travel through time.
- Cool Spaceship: His ship is huge.
- Face Death with Dignity: Once his Taking You with Me move fails due to Iron Man's machinations, he takes it in stride, refusing Stark's offer to save him and declaring he'll rise again just as his ship crashes into Earth's surface in the future.
- The Fighting Narcissist: Kang is undeniably full of himself, even if he isn't very prone to making boastful declarations like The Leader or Loki.
- The Man Behind the Man: It is eventually revealed that he was the mastermind behind the "Emerald Rain" project.
- Outside-Genre Foe: The Avengers never fought against a time-traveler before they met him. Even so, Tony eventually figures out how to outsmart him, mostly due to the fact that Kang's technology was based off of Stark tech.
- Take Over the World: His plan concerning 21st century Earth. He wishes to conquer it so that he can counter his enemies in the future before they can defeat him.
- Taking You with Me: He reveals his ship's generator can shut down should he be defeated and his throne hacked. Due to his ship being close to Earth, its gravity starts pulling it from orbit and would kill everyone onboard upon impact, including himself. Tony sends all of his allies out of the ship, manages to hack into the throne again to warp himself and Kang back into the future, and escape while Kang is left behind.
- Teleporters and Transporters: He can teleport himself through time and space in the blink of an eye.
Norman Osborn (Green Goblin)
Voiced by: Hiroshi Yanaka (Japanese); Dave Wittenberg (English)
Norman Osborn is the head of Oscorp and secretly the cackling madman known as the Green Goblin.
- Split Personality: True to his early appearances, Norman and the Green Goblin act like two different identities, but they're both working together.
- Villain with Good Publicity: While no one knew he was the Green Goblin, he tried to push a Super Registration Act by turning public opinion against the Hulk.
Deadpool
Voiced by: Takehito Koyasu (Japanese); Jason Spisak (English)
Everyone's favorite Merc with a Mouth.
- Breaking the Fourth Wall: Deadpool directly addresses the audience, much to the confusion of other people who think he is talking to thin air.
- Confusion Fu: Deadpool ends up making schmucks of the Future Avengers by dumping his costume onto an attacking Chloé, dazing and disgusting the girl with its odor when both Adi and Makoto are beaned by Chloé's discarded tonfa.
- Super Gullible: Deadpool makes his first appearance with the intent to steal plans for Tony's latest armor in exchange for his own anime. Crossbones never intended to uphold on his end of the bargain at all.

The younger brother of Black Bolt, Maximus secretly plans on orchestrating a war between the Inhumans and the human world.
- Big Bad: Of the second season.
- Cain and Abel: When the brothers were children and Black Bolt at first appeared unable to control his powers. Maximus expected to be named the next king. When his brother instead managed to master his power, Maximus grew extremely angry that he never got his chance to rule.
- Faux Affably Evil: He pretends to act charming to the other Avengers and other Inhumans, but it quickly drops when he reveals his true colors.
- Last Villain Stand: The last time we see him, he managed to escape his exploding jet and infiltrates a formal treaty ceremony between the Inhumans and mankind, intending to launch another bout of Terrigen mist to make an opportunity against his foes, refusing to be beaten or admit defeat. Loki puts a stop to his plan, manipulating him into walking into Black Bolt.
- Manipulative Bastard: Has manipulated both the humans and the Inhumans into fighting each other to undermine his brother's rule.
- Psychic Powers: He can cause things to happen using his mind, such as causing Iron Man's suit to malfunction or mentally manipulate Makoto and Bruno's minds to fight each other.
- Villainous Breakdown: Once Kamala, Chloé, and Crystal expose his crimes to Atillan and Black Bolt tells his people to stand down, Maximus does not take it well. He loses both his temper and sanity, unreasonably demands his crew to continue the invasion, and angrily leads the remnants of his armada to attack Earth and get revenge on Black Bolt, the Avengers, and every other hero for standing in his way.Maximus: THIS IS FAR FROM OVER, BROTHER!!!
