Introduced in Cyclomaniacs
Robotjam
The protagonist of Cyclomaniacs and Cyclomaniacs Epic. He is the first character unlocked in both games, and his disappearance drives the "plot" of Cyclomaniacs 2. A British, steam-powered robot with balanced stats.
Tropes
- Author Avatar: Of a Kongregate game creator from the UK known as robotJAM.
- Balance Buff: In Epic, he has much better, although still balanced, stats.
- Cool Bike: Both of his bikes.
- Cute Machines: He doesn't look like a threatening robot at all, with his big eyes and rounded edges.
- Grew Beyond Their Programming: He decided to build a fun bike course for all to enjoy in 2.
- Jack of All Stats: Not to the point where he's overpowered, though.
- Ridiculously Human Robots: He can show emotion, talk normally, and eat.
- Steam Never Dies: He still has a steam-powered bike in the future.
- Steampunk: Both him and his bike.
The King
The protagonist of Cyclomaniacs 2 who was a supporting character before. An Elvis Impersonator (maybe) with one of the better stunt/wheelie bikes in-game.
Tropes
- Elvis Has Left the Planet: When he, along with the other riders, goes to space in the first game.
- Elvis Impersonator: If you couldn't tell by his name.
- Elvis Lives: It's hinted at this in 2.
- He's Just Hiding: His bio in 2 suggests he was presumed dead.
- No Celebrities Were Harmed: He's clearly based on Elvis Presley. Even his bikes are named after Elvis songs in Epic.
- Suddenly Voiced: In 2. And his voice sounds suspiciously like Elvis.
- The Power of Friendship: How he saves the other riders in 2.
Ninja
Formerly known as Crouching Badger, he is Exactly What It Says on the Tin. A ninja who is one of the fastest in-game characters.
Tropes
- Gratuitous Ninja: Why they advertised him as the main character in 2, because EVERYTHING is better with ninjas.
- McNinja: Turns out he's not Japanese.
- Stealth Expert: What do you expect, he's a ninja?
- Sudden Name Change: For some reason, he's just called "Ninja" in 2 and Epic despite his name in Cyclomaniacs.
- Super-Speed: Was the fastest character in the first game.
- The Stoic: It's implied in his Cyclomaniacs bio.
