Give a short statement identifying the trope, followed by details in additional paragraphs. Keep it concise, but feel free to be funny. Do ''not'' put the name of the trope at the top of the draft -- when it's displayed in the Wiki, that will automatically be done for you.

Make sure you're draft has proper grammar and formatting. This template can help, but you may also want to test out your draft in one of the Administrivia/WikiSandboxes. If you need help with your English, you can also post on the [[https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=b9tcd2k65789p1pglrd92nvr&page=1 Get Help With English]] forum.

If you use this template to make a draft, be sure to remove any unused elements before you publish it.

Put all "See also", "Compare/Contrast" and similar links at the end of the description. A sentence identifying the source of the trope name is optional, but appreciated. Some tropes have a small list of subtropes. These should be bulleted Wiki Words at the bottom. :

Give So, you have an excellent idea for a short statement identifying work. But you come across a problem: How do you create a historical background for your work? You don't have the trope, followed by details resources to shoot a scene set in additional paragraphs. Keep it concise, but the past and doing a large IntroDump can feel free to be funny. Do ''not'' put awkward, besides going against the name principles of ShowDontTell.
StockFootage could work, but maybe what is available sticks to the historical fact and doesn't quite work with the story...

Well, unless you, say, could edit it.

Maybe a fictional character is edited into a TeamShot of important RealLife personalties or military unit, to establish his past without having to create it wholecloth. Maybe the author reworks footage of a well known event to give a character a BeenThereShapedHistory background.

Regardless, of how it's used, the main point
