* AllDrummersAreAnimals: In this movie, it's implied that Animal's wild behavior is directly linked to his drumming. "Drums" is actually a [[BerserkButton trigger word]] for him, and at one point he has a GoodAngelBadAngel moment, where they just yell at each other, "Drums!" "No Drums!" The Bad Angel is the one who wants him to play.

* GoodAngelBadAngel: Here is Good Animal, Bad Animal... Unfortunately for Animal, both his 'angel' and his 'devil' suffer from HulkSpeak just as he does. "DRUM!" "NO DRUM!"

* HateSink: [[BigBad Tex Richman]] is an [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin evil oil Barron]] with no redeeming qualities[[note]]Altough, as stated in the extended version of his VillainSong, he [[EvenEvilHasLovedOnes at least has love for his cat, Twinkles]], and he [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone regrets]] [[ItMakesSenseInContext having him gold-plated]][[/note]] who buys the abandoned Muppet Studios with the intention of tearing it down and drilling for the oil underneath it. Richman also intends to take the rights of everything Muppets-related and pass them on to the ill-natured Moopets too. While giving them little time to raise the money, Richman also attempts on two different occasions to sabotage those attempts and when the Muppets aren't able to raise the money, [[EvilGloating he rubs it in their faces]]. While a {{greed}}y jerk, Richman also just ultimately [[ForTheEvulz likes being mean for the sake of being mean]].

* HeelRealization: Bobo wonders if he and Uncle Deadly are working for the bad guy. Deadly is devastated to consider this, and spells it out in even bigger terms when he [[spoiler:shoves Richman off the theatre roof.]]

** In the bloopers reel, Hobo Joe makes a crack about the chicken being done, at which point a singed chicken of Gonzo's walks out of his fire-pit. One of the hobo puppets makes a crack about having [[IncrediblyLamePun ordered it To-Go]], and around 2 minutes is spent with Hobo Joe needing it explained to him.
