Is it an example, though? Didn't Think This Through is about plans, where there is a gaping flaw the characters (and audience) failed to acknowledge. OP is just a comical screw-up. I suppose you could argue that the current isn't an example either, but I think it's reasonably comprehensible, so I'm not convinced to pull it.

I sorta agree. Everything from what I'm seeing here involves a plan of some sort. So both the suggestion and the current aren't ideal.

7 does have that early comics "lets make the speech bubbles really long so we don't have to draw as much" issue.

I don't feel like the mistake is as obvious there. It's less incompetence from the villains and more competence from the victim.
Again, the trope is about plans with a glaring flaw that should have been picked up earlier by the participants, but wasn't for whatever reason.

The incompetence is Zeetha's she killed everyone who captured her but now has no clue where they took her and how to get home.
It's still a bit hard to follow. And it stil relies on plenty of text (to be fair, this trope inevitably needs text anyway).
