Exactly, and there are ways to convey deafeningly loud sounds without actually playing them deafeningly loud.
Optimism is a duty.Any news yet as to when this will have a home release?
I would like to watch this movie sometime. It would be interesting debating about what the movie's true message is.
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!Haven't found a DVD version yet, not even pre-order. The reviews have made me curious, it seems more compelling and interesting than the initial trailer suggested.
Optimism is a duty.I said that I liked this film, and I didn't really changed my mind, but I hadn't watched trailers (because I generally not do that, at least not for films I plan to watch) or seen the posters. Now I understand that some of the marketing was quite dishonest about what this film would be.
Well, I didn't really have a choice, since it ran before Dune part II. That's how I learned of it in the first place, though I would have heard of it from Film Brain too later on.
Kind of interesting that the thing that was supposed to lure in general audiences who would not otherwise have watched this movie was the thing that nearly turned me off from it.

Optimism is a duty.
You don't need to deafen your audience in the name of 'realism' to sell to your audience that guns are loud and scary, that to me is just obnoxious,it's probably not as bad as having live rounds on set though.
