This is the thread to use if you feel that the page image itself is good but the caption needs help.
If you think that both the image and the caption are poor, please make a thread in Image Pickin' for the page, and we'll work on the image and caption both at the same time.
As with other TRS and IP threads, please state your reasons and make your case in your first post. Don't make the other posters spend time trying to pry it out of you.

Repost from the previous few pages.
Touhou Chireiden ~ Subterranean Animism
I've tried this twice already, but got no response both times.
To keep it consistent with the other Touhou Project pages, this needs a caption. I suggest "CAUTION! CAUTION!", referencing the game's final boss, as previously suggested by the initial thread.
The caption for Wacky Racing seems to be a little generic:
Incidentally, Lapsem changed it from this last September:
A similar quote was repurposed as the page quote around the same time by the same editor. (Meaning some discussion on that thread might be necessary. The caption had been previously changed by FSU Bulldogs last April from this:
I checked and neither change was discussed beforehand either in this thread or on the page's discussion page.
Elemental Powers has Pun potholed four times, which seems a little clunky. Can I swap the potholes to Making a Splash, Playing with Fire, Dishing Out Dirt, and Blow You Away?
I support that.
135 - 169 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300The new image on Housepets! was added without caption
So, Hmmm
Update on the caption for Wacky Racing: I brought up the issue on the page quote thread and I have two posters who agree that the page quote should be repurposed as the caption for the image. Does anyone here agree?
I agree. It makes much more sense as the caption, and the current caption really isn't adding much.

Moment Killer has a very generic "addressing the character" caption. Should we cut?
back lolIt's not hurting anything, but it's not helping either.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Hello, I've noticed that Not-So-Badass Longcoat is missing a caption, and I would propose, with the image being of Columbo:
- "Although in his case, it's a Hidden Badass Longcoat."

"The only thing which is certain, is that something will happen".Is this the right place to suggest captions? Because if so, I'd like to suggest "Jump, Harry!" for Harry and His Bucket Full of Dinosaurs.
"Anemone dear, I know you want to be more independent from me, but... please take care, okay?"Funny Animal had the below added in September:
I think it's a bit... blah. I thought of the following as a replacement:
Thoughts?
The Has Two Thumbs and... trope uses the term "sc*lpers," please change it to "ticket resellers."

Could you give a link to the trope?
Readings Are Off the Scale has MEIN GOTT! linked to Gratuitous German. The link I feel is wrong because the film is in German, nothing gratuitous about it. Otherwise I don't think it adds much. A better caption might be one explaining the context (a submarine going below its safe pressure depth) but I'm not sure how to make that concise.
Stories don't tell us monsters exist; we knew that already. They show us that monsters can be trademarked and milked for years. The caption for WesternAnimation.Smiling Friends features lyrics from James Taylor's Your Smiling Face.
I know the song was in the early trailers for S1, but I also know referential captions to works outside of the franchise are disallowed on work pages and subpages in most cases, so this probably shouldn't be here. Plus, TBH, it doesn't really fit the show outside of the smiling aspect.
May I suggest moving the trailer tagline (which is the current page quote) to the image caption. Like so:
I feel it fits slightly better with the image.
As for a quote replacement, This quotes from the first episode seems like a perfect fit.

I think if the song was in early trailers, it's not unrelated to the franchise, but I agree the new caption's more evocative.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe. The image and caption themselves are Gratuitous German.
Welcome to Corneria!IMO, I don't see any reason to change the caption on the trope based on one single Twitter thread. I've never even heard of the word "scalper" being used as a slur, anyway, and chances are the same can be said for others.

Kaito is an alien and he is kinda spacey, coming from the universe to party and go crazy! We had this discussion previously. Considering scalpers doesn't appear on Wikipedia's extremely extensive list of slurs, I don't think a single Twitter thread is enough evidence to change it.
I looked at the twitter thread and the argument is entirely based on how "scalping" was used on the American frontier. It also repeats the idea that it was introduced by Europeans, which historians have been debunking for a while (both Plains Indians and settlers used it extensively to keep track of their kills, but all the evidence points to it having started among natives). I am rather on the side of not demonising ticket reselling, because it is an inevitable response to an artificial shortage, but that is a very weak argument.
Stories don't tell us monsters exist; we knew that already. They show us that monsters can be trademarked and milked for years. The caption on Modeling Poses has two different notes right next to each other, which I think is a bit much. Can we change the first note to be in parentheses, like this?
Or maybe we could cut the Balmain part entirely since there's no page for it?
