It's not a Trope though, it's a Trivia, which implies it clears a certain bar of being interesting.

Children Voicing Children is interesting because it is unusual in voice acting. In live action, if a role requires a child, you can't fake it (barring some major CGI I suppose). But in voiceover work, adults voice child characters all the time, vast majority, so a deviation from that rule is noteworthy.

Children are inexperienced and difficult to work with ("Never work with children or animals" as the famous quote goes), so most productions avoid it unless they want to be different and prove something.

None of this applies to older voice actors, who are probably highly experienced with a lifetime of professional experience in comparison.

Yeah, there's no reason why an adult voicing an adult would be noteworthy.
